دشنت جامعة الملك سعود ممثلة بكلية علوم الرياضة والنشاط البدني، برنامج شهادة الفيفا الدولية في الإدارة الرياضية (FIFA/CIES) في نسخته الأولى، بحضور ممثلي إدارة البرنامج في الجامعة، ورئيس برنامج (FIFA/CIES)، وممثل شريك البرنامج الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم.
وأشار مدير البرنامج الدكتور محمد بن سعد الدوسري إلى أن إطلاق البرنامج يأتي ضمن جهود جامعة الملك سعود في تنمية رأس المال البشري المتخصص في قطاع الرياضة، ومواءمة مخرجات التعليم والتدريب مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة (2030) في صناعة الرياضة والفعاليات الكبرى.
وتضم النسخة الأولى وحدات أكاديمية وتطبيقية في مجالات: حوكمة المنظمات الرياضية، التسويق الرياضي، الاتصال والإعلام الرياضي، القانون الرياضي، إدارة الفعاليات الرياضية، والمالية الرياضية، إضافة إلى مشروع تخرّج تطبيقي يعالج تحديات من واقع الرياضة المحلية.
يُذكر أن البرنامج يبدأ الأنشطة الأكاديمية وفق الجدول المعتمد في مرافق الجامعة، وذلك من بداية أكتوبر، وحتى منتصف فبراير القادم، عبر تنظيم ورشٍ ومحاضرات لخبراء محليين ودوليين وزيارات ميدانية تفاعلية.

King Saud University, represented by the College of Sports Science and Physical Activity, has launched the first edition of the FIFA International Certificate in Sports Management (FIFA/CIES), with the presence of program management representatives at the university, the head of the (FIFA/CIES) program, and a representative from the program's partner, the Saudi Football Federation.
Program Director Dr. Mohammed bin Saad Al-Dosari indicated that the launch of the program comes as part of King Saud University's efforts to develop specialized human capital in the sports sector and to align educational and training outcomes with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision (2030) in the sports industry and major events.
The first edition includes academic and practical units in the fields of: governance of sports organizations, sports marketing, sports communication and media, sports law, sports event management, and sports finance, in addition to a practical graduation project that addresses challenges from the local sports context.
It is worth noting that the program will begin academic activities according to the approved schedule at the university's facilities, starting from the beginning of October until mid-February, through organizing workshops and lectures by local and international experts, as well as interactive field visits.
