أوقعت قرعة دور الـ16 من كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين لكرة القدم للموسم الرياضي 2025 - 2026، التي سحبت في العاصمة السعودية (الرياض)، فريق الاتحاد (حامل اللقب) أمام نظيره النصر في نهائي مبكر للمسابقة، وأسفرت القرعة عن 8 مواجهات، إذ يلتقي الخلود مع النجمة، والباطن مع الأهلي، ويواجه القادسية نظيره الحزم، والخليج مع التعاون، والفتح يلتقي الرياض، والأخدود يقابل الهلال، والشباب مع الزلفي.
ومن المقرر أن تلعب مباريات ثمن نهائي كأس الملك من مباراة واحدة بخروج المغلوب خلال الفترة من (27 - 28) أكتوبر القادم.
وكان الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم اعتمد وبناءً على المقترح المقدم من لجنة المسابقات، تعديل الفقرة 5 من المادة 10 من اللائحة التنظيمية لمسابقة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، إذ تقام مباريات دور الـ32 من المسابقة على أرض الفريق صاحب المستوى الثاني بصورة مباشرة، وذلك اعتبارا من الموسم الرياضي القادم 2025-2026.
ويضم المستوى الأول في القرعة أعلى 16 ناديا حسب تصنيف دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين قبل بدايته في نفس الموسم الذي تقام فيه مسابقة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، فيما يضم المستوى الثاني بقية الأندية المشاركة، وهي الناديان الأقل تصنيفا من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، إضافة إلى 14 ناديا حسب تصنيف دوري يلو لأندية الدرجة الأولى قبل بدايته في نفس الموسم الذي تقام فيه مسابقة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين.
فيما ستستمر باقي الأدوار في كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين بنظامها السابق اعتبارا من دور الـ16 وفق قرعة مفتوحة لجميع الأندية في تحديد المواجهات وصاحب الأرض.

The draw for the Round of 16 of the King Abdulaziz Cup for the 2025 - 2026 sports season, which was held in the Saudi capital (Riyadh), placed the defending champion Al-Ittihad against its counterpart Al-Nassr in an early final of the competition. The draw resulted in 8 matches, where Al-Khulood faces Al-Najma, Al-Batin meets Al-Ahli, Al-Qadisiyah takes on Al-Hazm, Al-Khaleej competes against Al-Taawun, Al-Fateh faces Al-Riyadh, Al-Akhdoood goes up against Al-Hilal, and Al-Shabab plays against Al-Zulfi.
The matches of the King’s Cup Round of 16 are scheduled to be played in a single elimination format during the period from October 27 to 28.
The Saudi Football Federation approved, based on the proposal submitted by the Competitions Committee, an amendment to paragraph 5 of Article 10 of the regulatory framework for the King Abdulaziz Cup, whereby the matches of the Round of 32 will be held on the home ground of the team ranked second directly, starting from the next sports season 2025-2026.
The first level in the draw includes the top 16 clubs according to the classification of the Roshen Saudi Professional League before its start in the same season in which the King Abdulaziz Cup is held, while the second level includes the remaining participating clubs, which are the two lowest-ranked teams from the Roshen Saudi Professional League, in addition to 14 clubs according to the classification of the Yelo League for first division clubs before its start in the same season in which the King Abdulaziz Cup is held.
Meanwhile, the remaining rounds of the King Abdulaziz Cup will continue under the previous system starting from the Round of 16, according to an open draw for all clubs to determine the matchups and the home team.
