أعلن الهلال عبر حسابه الرسمي في منصة «إكس» تعاقده مع الحارس الفرنسي ماتيو باتويليت قادماً من ليون الفرنسي لمدة عامين حتى 2027.
وقد استمرت المفاوضات عدة أيام، وكان باتويليت (مواليد 2004) قد نشأ في أكاديمية ليون الشهيرة، وحقق تجربة ناجحة مع فريق سوشو على سبيل الإعارة خلال موسم 2023-2024، وخاض 65 مباراة، حافظ خلالها على شباكه نظيفة في 22 مواجهة، واستقبلت شباكه 70 هدفاً. رغم صغر سنه، إلا أنه يعد حارساً متميزاً يتمتع برد فعل سريع ولديه القدرة على التعامل مع الانفرادات.
وكانت «عكاظ» قد أشارت في وقت سابق عبر موقعها الإلكتروني بتاريخ الثلاثاء 2 سبتمبر الجاري، إلى قرب الحارس الفرنسي من التوقيع مع الهلال، بعد أن كانت الإدارة الزرقاء تفاضل بينه وبين حارس آخر من الجنسية الإسبانية.
باتويليت مثّل منتخبات فرنسا في مختلف الفئات السنية، وكان حاضراً مع منتخب تحت 20 عاماً خلال آخر التجمعات الدولية، ما يؤكد أنه من الحراس الفرنسيين الواعدين.
يذكر أن الحارس كان محل اهتمام بعض الأندية الفرنسية والأوروبية التي ترغب في تعزيز صفوفها بحارس شاب بارز، وتعتبر هذه الصفقة استثماراً مناسباً للمستقبل، حيث سيكون تطويره سهلاً بفضل الجهاز الفني الذي سيشرف عليه ويضم أسماء أوروبية كبيرة.
وسيعمل الجهاز الفني على تجهيزه استعداداً للفترة التي سيغيب فيها الحارس الهلالي المغربي ياسين بونو نتيجة مشاركته مع منتخب بلاده في كأس الأمم الأفريقية التي تستضيفها بلاده أواخر ديسمبر القادم.

Despite his young age, he is considered an outstanding goalkeeper with quick reflexes and the ability to handle one-on-one situations.
Previously, "Okaz" had indicated on its website on Tuesday, September 2, that the French goalkeeper was close to signing with Al-Hilal, after the blue management was weighing between him and another goalkeeper of Spanish nationality.
Patouillet has represented France at various age levels and was present with the under-20 national team during the latest international gatherings, confirming that he is one of the promising French goalkeepers.
It is worth noting that the goalkeeper was of interest to some French and European clubs looking to strengthen their squads with a prominent young goalkeeper, and this deal is considered a suitable investment for the future, as his development will be facilitated by the coaching staff that will oversee him, which includes prominent European names.
The coaching staff will work on preparing him for the period during which Al-Hilal's Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou will be absent due to his participation with his national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by his country at the end of December.
