«كاسيميرو» البالغ من العمر 33 عاماً يحظى بثقة المدرب الإيطالي «كارلو أنشيلوتي»، الذي استدعاه إلى صفوف منتخب السامبا بعد أن لعب دوراً مهماً في المرحلة الأولى من قيادته، ويبدو أن قرار اللاعب بالبقاء مرتبط أيضاً برغبته في خوض آخر مونديال له مع البرازيل، قبل التفكير في خوض تجربة جديدة خارج أوروبا.
