According to sources, "Okaz" learned that the management of Al-Ittihad Club has expressed its desire and recently inquired about the contractual situation of international defender Ali Al-Bulaihi, with a serious intention to submit an official request for his loan during the upcoming period.
According to the same sources, the management of Al-Hilal does not oppose, in principle, the player's departure on loan, provided that the club signs a defender from the "born" category, as this contract would facilitate the approval of Al-Bulaihi's transfer to Al-Ittihad smoothly.
These moves come as Al-Ittihad seeks to strengthen its defense line with an experienced player, while Al-Hilal is considering its defensive options to ensure the team's balance in the new season.
Sources confirmed to "Okaz" that "Al-Bulaihi" is considering several offers from local clubs, the most prominent of which is a club in the Eastern Province, and the player does not mind returning to his region, as he wishes to take on a new challenge in the upcoming period, despite recently renewing his contract for two seasons with "the Leader," without an official announcement of the contract yet, as Al-Bulaihi's career with Al-Hilal is on the line and is approaching its final station.
The source added that the management of Al-Hilal does not oppose selling the player's contract if a suitable financial offer is reached, especially after securing his continuation through renewal, which gives the club the freedom to negotiate without pressure.
It is worth noting that Al-Hilal signed "Al-Bulaihi" in the summer of 2017 from Al-Fateh, and he has climbed to the podium 13 times, as follows: 5 league titles, 2 AFC Champions League titles, 3 King’s Cup titles, and the same number in the Saudi Super Cup.
