كشفت صحيفة «ديفينسا سنترال الإسبانية» أن السعودية جهزت عرضاً خيالياً بقيمة 350 مليون يورو (406 ملايين دولار) لضم النجم الفرنسي كيليان مبابي، في صفقة قد تغير موازين سوق الانتقالات على مر التاريخ. وأكدت الصحيفة أنه سيعرض على مبابي امتيازات تضاهي أو تقارب التي يحصل عليها الأسطورة كريستيانو رونالدو في عقده الجديد مع النصر، رغم أن ريال مدريد لا يعتزم التفريط في هدافه الأول الذي أحرز 31 هدفاً في الدوري الإسباني في موسمه الأول في ملعب «بيرنابيو» 2024 ـ 2025، وأغلق الباب تماماً أمام أي مفاوضات بشأن مبابي، مؤكداً أن اللاعب يعد الركيزة الأساسية للمشروع الرياضي للنادي، وأنه لا نية للاستغناء عنه تحت أي ظرف، لأسباب فنية وتسويقية، وفق التقرير الذي بثه موقع «RT» الإلكتروني.
يُذكر أن النجم الفرنسي انتقل إلى صفوف «الملكي» في صيف 2024 في صفقة مجانية، بعد نهاية عقده مع باريس سان جيرمان، إذ رفض وقتها تفعيل بند تمديد عقده لمدة موسم واحد على الأقل.
