حقق المنتخب السعودي لليوغاسانا إنجازاً تاريخياً في البطولة الآسيوية السادسة، فقد حصد المنتخب 4 ميداليات ذهبية و2 برونزية خلال مشاركته في بطولة آسيا السادسة بمدينة الفجيرة بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، التي نظمها الاتحاد الإماراتي للرياضة تحت رعاية ولي عهد الفجيرة سمو الشيخ محمد بن حمد الشرقي، وتحت مظلة الاتحاد الآسيوي لرياضات اليوغا، التي أقيمت يومي 9-10 / 8/ 2025م.
ووجه الرئيس التنفيذي للجنة السعودية لليوغا محمد الساعدي تهنئة لأبطال المنتخب السعودي لليوغاسانا على هذا الإنجاز التاريخي، موضحاً أن المنتخب شارك بـ 6 لاعبين وحصد 6 ميداليات، منها 4 ميداليات ذهبية و2 برونزية، وأن هذا الإنجاز يعكس التزام اللجنة السعودية لليوغا بتطوير رياضة اليوغاسانا التنافسية في المملكة، ويمثل خطوة مهمة نحو تعزيز حضورنا على الساحة الرياضية الآسيوية والدولية. ونشكر جميع اللاعبين والجهاز الفني والإداري على جهودهم وإصرارهم، ونتطلع إلى تحقيق المزيد من النجاحات ورفع راية الوطن في المحافل العالمية.
من جهة أخرى أشادت مدربة المنتخب رينا جمال خالد بالمستوى المميز الذى ظهر به أفراد الفريق أثناء البطولة، مؤكدة أن هذا الإنجاز يعكس الصورة الحضارية المشرفة للتطور الكبير الذى تشهده المملكة في كل المجالات نتيجة الدعم الكبير من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولى العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز للرياضة والرياضين، ونعد بأن نستمر في تقديم كل ما من شأنه رفع راية المملكة في جميع المحافل.
وقد تكونت بعثة المنتخب من: أحمد الساعدي (الرئيس التنفيذي للجنة السعودية لليوغا)، وقصي الشريف (حكم دولي ورئيس اللجنة الفنية)، ومشاعل أكرم (حكم دولي)، والمدربين: ريناد جمال خالد، وخالد الزهراني، واللاعبين هاني عشقي، عبدالله الزهراني، منيرة السليماني، سماهر المالكي، قصي حجازي، بدر الغامدي.

The Saudi Yogasana team achieved a historic accomplishment at the sixth Asian championship, having won 4 gold medals and 2 bronze medals during its participation in the sixth Asian Championship held in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The event was organized by the UAE Sports Federation under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, and under the umbrella of the Asian Yoga Sports Federation, which took place on August 9-10, 2025.
The CEO of the Saudi Yoga Committee, Mohammed Al-Saadi, congratulated the champions of the Saudi Yogasana team on this historic achievement, explaining that the team participated with 6 players and won 6 medals, including 4 gold medals and 2 bronze medals. He noted that this achievement reflects the commitment of the Saudi Yoga Committee to develop competitive Yogasana sports in the Kingdom and represents an important step towards enhancing our presence on the Asian and international sports scene. We thank all the players and the technical and administrative staff for their efforts and determination, and we look forward to achieving more successes and raising the flag of the nation in global forums.
On another note, the team coach, Rina Jamal Khalid, praised the outstanding level displayed by the team members during the championship, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the honorable civilizational image of the significant development that the Kingdom is witnessing in all fields, thanks to the great support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for sports and athletes. We promise to continue providing everything that would raise the flag of the Kingdom in all forums.
