علّقت إدارة نادي الشباب مفاوضاتها الجادة بالتعاقد مع الدولي السنغالي باثي سيس، لاعب رايو فاليكانو الإسباني، وذلك مع دخول نادي بورتو في خط المفاوضات، رغم رغبة اللاعب في الانضمام لنادي الشباب. ورأت الإدارة الشبابية أن المبالغ المطلوبة تفوق قيمة اللاعب الفنية والميزانية المرصودة للتعاقدات.
وأكدت مصادر «عكاظ» أن إدارة النادي العاصمي قدمت عرضاً رسمياً لمدة موسمين لنظيرتها للظفر بخدمات اللاعب (31 عاماً) خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، إلا أن إدارة الشباب أغلقت فكرة التعاقد معه والبحث عن خيارات أخرى تستهدفها إدارة نادي الشباب.
