The French club Lens has entered the race to sign Saudi star Saud Abdulhamid during the current summer transfer window, at a time when the French club Toulouse had verbally agreed with the Italian club Roma to sign the player Saud Abdulhamid on loan for one season.

According to the famous French journalist Santi Aouna, Lens has surpassed Toulouse in the final moments of negotiations, after the latter was closer to securing the deal. Aouna indicated through his official account on the platform "X" that Lens has finalized the details for the loan of the Saudi player for the upcoming season from Roma, amid a mutual desire between the player and the French club to complete the deal quickly.
