يفتتح المنتخب السعودي الأول لكرة قدم الصالات، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، مبارياته في بطولة القارات الدولية الودية لكرة قدم الصالات 2025، بملاقاة منتخب أستراليا، عند الواحدة ظهراً بتوقيت المملكة، على صالة محافظة نونتابوري.
وأنهى أخضر الصالات استعداداته للمباراة بإجراء حصة تدريبية مساء أمس، تحت إشراف المدير الفني الإسباني أندريو بلازا، ركز خلالها الجهاز الفني على الجوانب التكتيكية والخطة التي سيخوض بها اللقاء، إلى جانب تدريبات استرجاعية لتعزيز الجاهزية البدنية للاعبين.
وعلى هامش البطولة، عُقد الاجتماع الفني للبطولة بمشاركة ممثلي المنتخبات المشاركة، حيث نوقشت اللوائح الفنية والتنظيمية والتحكيمية، إضافة إلى الجوانب الإعلامية والأمنية.
وأكد المدير الفني للمنتخب أندريو بلازا خلال المؤتمر الصحفي، جاهزية الأخضر لخوض البطولة، مشيراً إلى أهمية هذه المشاركة في إعداد اللاعبين لتصفيات كأس آسيا لكرة قدم الصالات 2026، التي ستُقام في الدمام خلال الفترة من 20 إلى 24 سبتمبر القادم.
يُذكر أن قرعة تصفيات كأس آسيا وضعت المنتخب السعودي في المجموعة الرابعة إلى جانب منتخبات العراق، وباكستان، والصين تايبيه.

The Saudi national futsal team will kick off its matches today (Tuesday) in the 2025 International Friendly Futsal Continental Championship, facing the Australian team at 1 PM local time in the Nontaburi province hall.
The Green Futsal team completed its preparations for the match with a training session held last night, under the supervision of Spanish head coach Andreu Plaza, during which the coaching staff focused on tactical aspects and the strategy for the match, in addition to recovery exercises to enhance the players' physical readiness.
On the sidelines of the tournament, a technical meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the participating teams, where the technical, organizational, and refereeing regulations were discussed, along with media and security aspects.
During the press conference, head coach Andreu Plaza confirmed the team's readiness to participate in the tournament, pointing out the importance of this participation in preparing the players for the 2026 Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers, which will be held in Dammam from September 20 to 24.
It is worth mentioning that the draw for the Asian Cup qualifiers placed the Saudi team in Group D alongside the teams from Iraq, Pakistan, and Chinese Taipei.
