أسفرت قرعة الملحق الآسيوى فى التصفيات المؤهلة لبطولة كأس العالم 2026 التى ستقام فى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك عن وقوع منتخب السعودية فى المجموعة الثانية مع العراق وإندونيسيا.

كما أوقعت قرعة الملحق الآسيوى فى التصفيات المؤهلة لبطولة كأس العالم 2026، التى أقيمت صباح اليوم (الخميس) بمقر الاتحاد الآسيوى لكرة القدم في العاصمة الماليزية (كوالالمبور) منتخب قطر في المجموعة الأولى مع الإمارات وسلطنة عمان.
وتتنافس 6 منتخبات آسيوية على بطاقتين للتأهل مباشرة للمونديال، رفقة المنتخبات الستة التي سبق لها وأن اقتطعت بطاقة التأهل المباشر في تصفيات الدور السابق، فيما يلعب صاحبا المركز الثاني مواجهة فاصلة لتحديد المنتخب المشارك في الملحق العالمي، بنظام الذهاب والإياب، يومي 13 و18 نوفمبر المقبل.

وتستضيف قطر والسعودية مباريات الملحق خلال الفترة من 8 إلى 14 أكتوبر المقبل.
ووفقاً لنظام القرعة وزعت المنتخبات الـ6 المتأهلة للملحق على 3 مستويات قبل سحب مراسم القرعة، إذ جاء المنتخب السعودي ونظيره القطري في المستوى الأول، في حين حضر منتخبا العراق والإمارات في المستوى الثاني، ومنتخبا عمان وإندونيسيا في المستوى الثالث.
وأُجريت مراسم القرعة في مقر الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم بالعاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور، بحضور ممثلي المنتخبات المشاركة في هذا الدور، وقام بسحب القرعة تيمور كابازده مدرب منتخب أوزبكستان الذي قاد منتخب بلاده للتأهل للمونديال، وذلك للمرة الأولى في تاريخ المنتخب.
يذكر أن المنتخبات الآسيوية التي ضمنت التأهل للمونديال المقبل بصورة مباشرة هي اليابان وكوريا الجنوبية وأستراليا وإيران والأردن وأوزبكستان.
ويلعب منتخب السعودية مع إندونيسيا الأربعاء الموافق الثامن من أكتوبر بملعب «الإنماء» بمدينة «جدة»، بينما يلعب مع منتخب العراق على الملعب ذاته الثلاثاء الموافق 14 أكتوبر.
في حين يلعب منتخب العراق مع إندونيسيا السبت الموافق 11 أكتوبر على ملعب «الإنماء» بمدينة «جدة».
ويصعد الأول من كل مجموعة مباشرة إلى بطولة كأس العالم 2026، بينما يلتقي صاحبا المركز الثاني في مواجهتين ذهاباً وإياباً يومي 13 و18 نوفمبر، على أن يتأهل المنتصر إلى ملحق عالمي، في فرصة نهائية لبلوغ كأس العالم.
الملحق العالمي الذي سينتقل إليه المنتخب الآسيوي يضم أيضاً منتخبين من اتحاد أمريكا الشمالية والوسطى والكاريبي «كونكاكاف»، ومنتخباً من أفريقيا، ومثله من أمريكا الجنوبية، وآخر من منطقة أوقيانوسيا.

Additionally, the draw for the Asian playoff in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which took place this morning (Thursday) at the Asian Football Confederation headquarters in the Malaysian capital (Kuala Lumpur), placed the Qatari national team in Group A with the UAE and Oman.
Six Asian teams are competing for two direct qualification spots for the World Cup, alongside the six teams that have already secured direct qualification in the previous round of qualifiers, while the second-placed teams will face each other in a playoff to determine which team will participate in the global playoff, following a home-and-away format, on November 13 and 18.

Qatar and Saudi Arabia will host the playoff matches from October 8 to 14.
According to the draw system, the six teams qualified for the playoff were distributed into three levels before the draw ceremony. The Saudi and Qatari teams were placed in the first level, while Iraq and the UAE were in the second level, and Oman and Indonesia were in the third level.
The draw ceremony was held at the Asian Football Confederation headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, with representatives from the participating teams present. The draw was conducted by Timor Kapazdeh, the coach of the Uzbekistan national team, who led his country to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in the team's history.
It is worth mentioning that the Asian teams that have secured direct qualification for the upcoming World Cup are Japan, South Korea, Australia, Iran, Jordan, and Uzbekistan.
The Saudi national team will play against Indonesia on Wednesday, October 8, at the "Al-Inma" stadium in the city of "Jeddah," while they will face Iraq at the same stadium on Tuesday, October 14.
Meanwhile, Iraq will play against Indonesia on Saturday, October 11, at the "Al-Inma" stadium in the city of "Jeddah."
The first team from each group will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the second-placed teams will meet in two matches, home and away, on November 13 and 18, with the winner advancing to a global playoff, providing a final opportunity to reach the World Cup.
The global playoff that the Asian team will enter also includes two teams from the North and Central American and Caribbean Football Confederation (CONCACAF), one team from Africa, one from South America, and one from the Oceania region.
