فجّر فلومينينسي البرازيلي مفاجأة من العيار الثقيل بعد إقصائه إنتر ميلان الإيطالي من منافسات كأس العالم للأندية 2025 بعد الفوز عليه بهدفين دون مقابل في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد بنك أمريكا ضمن لقاءات الدور الـ16 لمونديال الأندية المقام حالياً في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ليتأهل فلومينينسي لدور ربع النهائي وينتظر الفائز من مواجهة ممثل الوطن (الهلال) ومانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي.
بدأ فلومينينسي اللقاء بقوة وتمكن من إحراز هدفه الأول بعد مرور 3 دقائق فقط من انطلاقة اللقاء عن طريق مهاجمه جيرمان كانو الذي تابع عرضية زميله أرياس وسط تباطؤ دفاع الإنتر في إبعاد الكرة ليضعها كانو برأسه في المرمى هدفاً أول لفلومينينسي (د:3)، وحاول إنتر ميلان العودة للقاء ولكن فرصه لم تشكل خطراً حقيقياً على المرمى البرازيلي، فيما تمكن فلومينينسي من هز الشباك مجدداً عن طريق أغناسيو ولكن راية التسلل كانت بالمرصاد.
وفي الشوط الثاني ضغط إنتر ميلان أكثر وسنحت أخطر الفرص للأرجنتيني مارتينيز لاوتارو ولكن تسديدته ارتطمت بالقائم، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع أضاف فلومينينسي الهدف الثاني عن طريق البديل هركليز بتسديدة أرضية قوية سكنت شباك إنتر ميلان (د:90+3)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز فلومينينسي البرازيلي بهدفين دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة تأهل فلومينينسي لدور الثمانية كثاني فريق برازيلي ويلتقي بالفائز من مواجهة الهلال ومانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي يوم الجمعة القادم في دور الثمانية لكأس العالم للأندية 2025.
