أعلنت شركة النادي الأهلي إنهاء العلاقة التعاقدية بالتراضي مع المدير الرياضي البريطاني لي كونجرتون، وذلك بعد فترة من التعاون والعمل المشترك الذي أسهم في دعم الهيكلة الرياضية والإدارية داخل النادي.
وقالت شركة النادي الأهلي في بيان لها نشرته على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «x»: «تتوجه الشركة بجزيل الشكر والتقدير للسيد لي، على ما قدمه من خبرات وعطاء طوال فترة عمله، حيث كانت لمساته واضحة مستفيدا من خبرة تتجاوز 20 عاما قضاها في العمل مع أندية عالمية».
وأوضح لي قائلا: «تجربتي مع النادي الأهلي كانت مليئة بالتحديات، وأشكر كافة فريق العمل على الدعم الكبير، أعتز بما تحقق خلال هذه الفترة، خصوصا الفوز بـ 3 بطولات، منها لقب قاري مع الفريق الأول، ولقبان في كرة القدم النسائية، وهي إنجازات ستبقى مصدر فخر واعتزاز بالنسبة لي».
وأكدت الشركة أن مسيرة التطوير مستمرة، وأنها ماضية في استقطاب الكفاءات، التي تسهم في تعزيز مكانة النادي التنافسية، محليا وقاريا، وفق رؤية مؤسسية واضحة وخطط تنفيذية دقيقة.
The Al Ahly Club Company announced the mutual termination of the contractual relationship with British sports director Lee Congerton, following a period of collaboration and joint work that contributed to supporting the sports and administrative restructuring within the club.
The Al Ahly Club Company stated in a statement published on the social media platform "x": "The company extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Lee for the expertise and contributions he provided throughout his tenure, as his impact was evident, benefiting from over 20 years of experience working with global clubs."
Lee stated: "My experience with Al Ahly Club was filled with challenges, and I thank the entire team for their tremendous support. I take pride in what was achieved during this period, especially winning 3 championships, including a continental title with the first team, and two titles in women's football, which are accomplishments that will remain a source of pride for me."
The company confirmed that the development journey continues and that it is moving forward in attracting talents that contribute to enhancing the club's competitive position, both locally and regionally, according to a clear institutional vision and precise executive plans.
