تسبب حارس مرمى فريق ماميلودي صن داونز الجنوب أفريقي، في منح فريق بوروسيا دورتموند الألماني فرصة تعديل نتيجة المباراة التي جمعتهما على ملعب «تي كيو إل» بمدينة سينسيناتي، في الجولة الثانية من مباريات المجموعة السادسة ضمن منافسات بطولة كأس العالم للأندية لكرة القدم 2025 التي تستضيفها الولايات المتحدة، بعد ارتكابه خطأ فادحاً في الدقيقة 16 عندما مرر كرة إلى فيليكس نميشا لاعب الفريق الألماني، ليسددها مباشرة في الشباك الأفريقية، وفق التقرير الذي بثه موقع «RT».
يُذكر أن الفريق الجنوب أفريقي تقدم مبكراً بهدف سجله مهاجمه البرازيلي لوكاس ريبيرو في الدقيقة 11 بمجهود فردي رائع، إذ قطع كرة قبل خط منتصف الملعب وانطلق بسرعة كبيرة متجاوزاً أكثر من لاعب، قبل أن ينفرد بالحارس ويضع الكرة في الشباك، قبل أن يقلب الألمان الطاولة ويخرجوا بنقاط المباراة الثلاث، إذ انتهت بنتيجة (4 - 3)، سجل فيليكس نميشا والغيني سيرهو جيراسي والإنجليزي جوبي بيلينغهام وخوليسو موداو مدافع صن داونز خطأ بمرماه في الدقائق (16، 34، 45، 60) أهداف بوروسيا دورتموند، والبرازيلي لوكاس ريبيرو وإكرام راينرز وليبو موثيبا في الدقائق (12، 62، 90) أهداف صن داونز.
ورفع دورتموند بهذا الفوز رصيده إلى (4) نقاط في المركز الأول بعد تعادله في الجولة الافتتاحية أمام فلومينينسي البرازيلي دون أهداف، والذي يلتقي أولسان الكوري الجنوبي في وقت لاحق اليوم، فيما تجمد رصيد صن داونز عند (3) نقاط في المركز الثاني مؤقتاً.
