استهل تشيلسي الإنجليزي مشواره في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية لكرة القدم المقامة حاليًا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بالفوز على لوس أنجلوس إف سي الأمريكي (2-0)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من المجموعة الرابعة.
وتقدّم تشيلسي في الدقيقة (34) عن طريق بيدر نيتو، قبل أن يضيف زميله إنزو فيرنانديز الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة (79).
ويلتقي تشيلسي في الجولة الثانية من المجموعة فريق فلامنجو البرازيلي يوم الجمعة المقبل، ثم يختتم مشواره في دور المجموعات بمواجهة الترجي التونسي يوم 25 من الشهر الجاري، فيما يلعب لوس أنجلوس مع الترجي في الجولة المقبلة، ويختتم مشواره في الدور الأول بمواجهة فلامنجو.

Chelsea started their journey in the FIFA Club World Cup currently held in the United States by defeating Los Angeles FC (2-0) in the first round of Group D.
Chelsea took the lead in the 34th minute through Bider Neto, before his teammate Enzo Fernandez added the second goal in the 79th minute.
Chelsea will face Brazilian team Flamengo in the second round of the group next Friday, and will conclude their group stage campaign against Tunisian team Esperance on the 25th of this month, while Los Angeles will play against Esperance in the next round and will finish their first round campaign against Flamengo.
