توّج وزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل، الاتحاد بلقب الدوري السعودي للمحترفين «روشن السعودي» 2024-2025، بعد فوزه على ضيفه ضمك بهدف دون رد، في المواجهة التي جمعتهما مساء (الإثنين) على ملعب «الإنماء» بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة، وسُجل هدف المباراة الوحيد عن طريق لاعب الاتحاد ستيفن بيرغوين (د:72)، واحتل الاتحاد صدارة سلّم الترتيب العام للدوري برصيد (83) نقطة من (26) فوزاً، و(5) تعادلات، و(3) خسائر، فيما جاء الهلال ثانياً برصيد (75) نقطة من (23) فوزاً، و(6) تعادلات، و(5) خسائر، في حين جاء النصر ثالثاً برصيد (70) نقطة، من (21) فوزاً، و(7) تعادلات، و(6) خسائر.
وتخلل حفل التتويج استعراض أهم أهداف الاتحاد خلال مشواره في بطولة الدوري للموسم الحالي، إلى جانب العديد من الفعاليات والأنشطة الترفيهية، والعروض الضوئية، والألعاب النارية التي أضاءت سماء مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية.
يُذكر أن الاتحاد ضمن تحقيق اللقب رسمياً قبل ختام منافسات الدوري بجولتين، بعد فوزه على الرائد (3–1) في اللقاء الذي جمعهما ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ32 في بريدة.

The Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, crowned Al-Ittihad with the title of the Saudi Professional League "Roshn Saudi" 2024-2025, after their victory over their guest Damak with a score of one goal to none, in the match that took place on Monday evening at the "Al-Inma" Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. The only goal of the match was scored by Al-Ittihad player Steven Bergwijn (D:72). Al-Ittihad topped the overall league standings with a total of (83) points from (26) wins, (5) draws, and (3) losses, while Al-Hilal came in second with (75) points from (23) wins, (6) draws, and (5) losses. Al-Nassr ranked third with (70) points from (21) wins, (7) draws, and (6) losses.
The coronation ceremony included a showcase of Al-Ittihad's most important goals during their journey in the league this season, alongside various entertainment activities, light shows, and fireworks that lit up the sky of King Abdullah Sports City.
It is worth noting that Al-Ittihad officially secured the title two rounds before the end of the league competitions, after their victory over Al-Raed (3–1) in the match that brought them together in the 32nd round in Buraidah.
