أسفرت قرعة كأس العرب 2025 لكرة القدم، التي ستقام في قطر من 1 إلى 18 ديسمبر القادم، عن وقوع المنتخب السعودي في المجموعة الثانية إلى جانب المغرب، والفائز من مواجهة عمان والصومال، والفائز من مواجهة اليمن وجزر القمر.
وتشهد التصفيات التمهيدية التي ستقام في قطر يومي 25 و26 نوفمبر القادم، ثماني مباريات لتحديد المنتخبات السبعة المتأهلة إلى دور المجموعات، منها مواجهة عمان والصومال، واليمن وجزر القمر.
وجاءت المجموعات الأربع على النحو التالي:
المجموعة الأولى: قطر، تونس، الفائز من سورية وجنوب السودان، الفائز من فلسطين وليبيا.
المجموعة الثانية: المغرب، السعودية، الفائز من عمان والصومال، الفائز من اليمن وجزر القمر.
المجموعة الثالثة: مصر، الأردن، الإمارات، الفائز من الكويت وموريتانيا.
المجموعة الرابعة: الجزائر، العراق، الفائز من البحرين وجيبوتي، الفائز من لبنان والسودان.
ويشارك في البطولة 24 منتخباً، تم تصنيف 9 منها للتأهل المباشر إلى مرحلة المجموعات، فيما تخوض المنتخبات الـ14 الأخرى تصفيات فاصلة تُقام بنظام خروج المغلوب يومي 25 و26 نوفمبر القادم، لتحديد 7 مقاعد إضافية.
وأعلنت اللجنة المحلية المنظمة للبطولة تخصيص جوائز مالية ضخمة تصل إلى 36.5 مليون دولار، وهو رقم غير مسبوق يعكس توجه البطولة نحو تعزيز موقعها كواحدة من أبرز المنافسات القارية.
وقد شارك في مراسم سحب القرعة عدد من نجوم الكرة العربية السابقين، منهم ياسر القحطاني، وائل جمعة، رابح ماجر، وحسن الهيدوس.
وتأتي هذه البطولة في إطار تعزيز التعاون الرياضي العربي، بمشاركة واسعة من أبرز المنتخبات العربية، وسط استعدادات كبيرة من قطر لضمان تنظيم متميز للحدث.
The draw for the 2025 Arab Cup, which will be held in Qatar from December 1 to 18, resulted in the Saudi national team being placed in Group B alongside Morocco, the winner of the Oman and Somalia match, and the winner of the Yemen and Comoros match.
The preliminary qualifiers, which will take place in Qatar on November 25 and 26, will feature eight matches to determine the seven teams that will qualify for the group stage, including the Oman and Somalia match, and the Yemen and Comoros match.
The four groups are as follows:
Group A: Qatar, Tunisia, the winner of Syria and South Sudan, the winner of Palestine and Libya.
Group B: Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the winner of Oman and Somalia, the winner of Yemen and Comoros.
Group C: Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, the winner of Kuwait and Mauritania.
Group D: Algeria, Iraq, the winner of Bahrain and Djibouti, the winner of Lebanon and Sudan.
A total of 24 teams will participate in the tournament, with 9 of them directly qualifying for the group stage, while the other 14 teams will compete in knockout qualifiers held on November 25 and 26 to determine 7 additional spots.
The local organizing committee for the tournament announced a substantial prize pool of up to $36.5 million, an unprecedented figure that reflects the tournament's aim to strengthen its position as one of the premier continental competitions.
Several former Arab football stars participated in the draw ceremony, including Yasser Al-Qahtani, Wael Gomaa, Rabah Madjer, and Hassan Al-Haydos.
This tournament comes as part of efforts to enhance Arab sports cooperation, with wide participation from prominent Arab teams, amid significant preparations by Qatar to ensure an outstanding organization of the event.
