قلب فريق الاتفاق تأخره بهدف من مضيفه الأهلي إلى فوز قوي بنتيجة 1/ 3، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية بجدة في ختام لقاءات الجولة 33 لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
بدأ اللقاء قوياً من جانب فريق الأهلي الذي تحصل على ركلة جزاء في وقت مبكر بعد تعرض مهاجمه إيفان توني للإعاقة من المدافع الاتفاقي عبدالله الخطيب ليتقدم توني بنفسه ويسددها بنجاح كهدف أول للأهلي (د: 6)، وجاء الرد الاتفاقي في الشوط الثاني إذ سدد الفارو ميدران كرة قوية من خارج منطقة الجزاء تصدى لها الحارس إدوارد ميندي ولكن أكملها محمد عبدالرحمن برأسه في المرمى كهدف أول وتعادل للاتفاق (د: 49)، وفي الدقائق الأخيرة من عمر اللقاء تحصل مهاجم الاتفاق فينالدوم على ركلة جزاء بعد احتكاك الحارس ميندي به ليتقدم فينالدوم بنفسه ويسددها بنجاح كهدف ثانٍ للاتفاق (د: 87)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع تلقى البديل مدالله العليان كرة طويلة من الفارو ميدران ليسيطر عليها ويتخطى المدافع ديميرال ويسددها بقدمه اليسرى على يسار الحارس ميندي كهدف ثالث للاتفاق (د: 90+5)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الاتفاق على الأهلي بنتيجة 1/ 3.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الاتفاق فوزه الـ13 ويصل للنقطة 47 وفي المركز السابع، فيما تلقى الأهلي الخسارة الـ9 وتجمد رصيده عند 64 نقطة وفي المركز الخامس وبهذه الخسارة يفقد الأهلي فرصته في المشاركة في كأس السوبر السعودي لتفوق النصر عليه بالمواجهات المباشرة، وفي الجولة القادمة والأخيرة سيلتقي الأهلي بمضيفه الرياض، فيما يستضيف الاتفاق فريق الوحدة.

The Al-Ettifaq team turned their deficit of one goal against their host Al-Ahli into a strong victory with a score of 1/3, in the match that took place at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, concluding the 33rd round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.
