استعاد فريق النصر نغمة الانتصارات بعد تفوقه على ضيفه الخليج بهدفين دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب الأول بارك بالرياض ضمن لقاءات الجولة 33 لدوري روشن السعودي.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية من فريق النصر الذي بحث عن النقاط الثلاث، فيما اعتمد الخليج على الهجمات المرتدة، وهدد النصر مرمى الخليج بعد تمريرة من أيمن يحيى لزميله سلطان الغنام داخل منطقة الجزاء ليلعبها عرضية لجون دوران الذي سددها ولكن ذهبت لخارج الملعب، ورد الخليج بهجمة مميزة بعد تمريرة خاطئة من المدافع نواف بوشل ويخطفها محمد شريف لينفرد بالمرمى ولكن محمد آل فتيل تمكن من التصدي لتسديدة شريف لتصل سهلة ليد الحارس بينتو، ورد كريستيانو رونالدو بهجمة مميزة بعد أن تخطى الدفاع وسددها ولكن تصدى لها الحارس رائد أزيبي بقدمه، وفي الشوط الثاني واصل النصر ضغطه وتحصل على ركلة جزاء نفذها رونالدو ولكن أضاعها بعد أن سددها في القائم وذهبت لخارج الملعب، وحضرت الأفراح النصراوية بعد ضياع ركلة الجزاء بعشر دقائق إذ لعب ساديو ماني كرة عرضية عالية قفز لها جون دوران وعكسها برأسه داخل شباك الخليج كهدف أول للنصر (د: 75)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع تحصل النصر مجدداً على ركلة جزاء بعد عرقلة الحارس أزيبي للمهاجم رونالدو ليسددها رونالدو مرة أخرى ولكن هذه المرة تمكن من تسجيلها بنجاح كهدف ثانٍ للنصر (د: 90+7)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز النصر على الخليج بهدفين دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق النصر فوزه الـ20 ويصل للنقطة 67 وفي المركز الرابع، فيما تلقى الخليج الخسارة الـ16 وتجمد رصيده عند 37 نقطة وفي المركز العاشر، وفي الجولة القادمة والأخيرة يلتقي النصر مع مضيفه الفتح، فيما يواجه الخليج ضيفه الأخدود.
