قلب التعاون تأخره بهدفين دون مقابل أمام ضيفه الرياض لفوز بنتيجة 3/ 2 في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب نادي التعاون ببريدة ضمن لقاءات الجولة الـ33 من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
بدأ اللقاء بداية هادئة من الفريقين وسرعان ما بدأ الرياض بالسيطرة وتمكن من هز الشباك بعد مرور أكثر من نصف ساعة، بعد أن لعب نواف العابد الكرة لزميله أنيس سالي ليتلاعب بالدفاع ويسددها أرضية على يمين الحارس عبدالقدوس عطية هدفاً أول للرياض (د:34)، وواصل الرياض سيطرته وتألق أنيس سالي مجدداً ليخطف الكرة من الدفاع التعاوني، ويمررها لزميله فايز سليماني الذي سددها قوية في المرمى هدفاً ثانياً للرياض (د:40)، وقبل نهاية الشوط الأول تحصل التعاون على ركلة جزاء بعد ملامسة الكرة ليد مدافع الرياض سويلم المنهالي، وتقدم موسى بارو وسددها بنجاح على يمين الحارس ميلان بوريان هدفاً أول للتعاون (د:45+6)، وفي الدقائق الأخيرة من عمر اللقاء تمكن التعاون من قلب النتيجة إذ أحرز هتان باهبري هدف التعادل بعد أن تلقى تمريرة قصيرة من زميله روجيرو مارتينيز ليسددها باهبري قوية على يسار الحارس بوريان هدف تعادل للتعاون (د:86)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع عاد هتان باهبري ليمرر كرة ذكية للمنفرد عبدالفتاح آدم الذي تخطى الحارس بوريان ووضعها في المرمى هدفاً ثالثاً للتعاون (د:90+5)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز التعاون على الرياض بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق التعاون فوزه الـ12 ويصل للنقطة 45 ليصعد للمركز السابع مؤقتاً، فيما تلقى الرياض الخسارة الـ15 وتجمد رصيده عند 38 نقطة في المركز التاسع، وفي الجولة القادمة (الأخيرة) سيلتقي التعاون مضيّفه العروبة، فيما يستضيف الرياض الأهلي.

Al-Taawoun came back from being two goals down against their guest Al-Riyadh to win with a score of 3-2 in the match held at Al-Taawoun Club's stadium in Buraidah as part of the 33rd round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The match started quietly for both teams, and Al-Riyadh quickly began to dominate, managing to find the net after more than half an hour. Nawaf Al-Abed played the ball to his teammate Anis Sali, who skillfully maneuvered past the defense and shot it low to the right of goalkeeper Abdulqadoos Atiyah, scoring the first goal for Al-Riyadh (34'). Al-Riyadh continued their dominance, and Anis Sali shone again by stealing the ball from the Al-Taawoun defense and passing it to his teammate Faiz Slimani, who struck it powerfully into the net for Al-Riyadh's second goal (40'). Just before the end of the first half, Al-Taawoun was awarded a penalty after the ball touched the hand of Al-Riyadh defender Suwailem Al-Minhali. Moussa Barrow stepped up and successfully converted it to the right of goalkeeper Milan Borjan, scoring Al-Taawoun's first goal (45+6'). In the final minutes of the match, Al-Taawoun managed to turn the score around as Hattan Bahbari scored the equalizer after receiving a short pass from his teammate Rogerio Martinez, shooting it powerfully to the left of goalkeeper Borjan for Al-Taawoun's equalizing goal (86'). In stoppage time, Hattan Bahbari made a clever pass to the unmarked Abdul Fattah Adam, who bypassed goalkeeper Borjan and placed it into the net for Al-Taawoun's third goal (90+5'), ending the match with Al-Taawoun winning against Al-Riyadh by three goals to two.
