The Al-Hilal team turned around a two-goal deficit against their host Al-Fateh to win with a score of 4-3, after an exciting match held at Al-Fateh Club's stadium in Al-Ahsa, as part of the 32nd round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The match witnessed a strong start from the home team, Al-Fateh, who managed to score two goals through their player Sofiane Bendebka with two headers in the 15th and 24th minutes. Al-Hilal nearly made a comeback before the end of the first half, but the brilliance of goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi prevented that, as he saved a shot from Mitrovic, allowing the ball to reach Salem Al-Dosari, whose shot was also saved by Al-Aqidi. The Guatemalan referee Mario Escobar then awarded a penalty to Al-Hilal due to contact between goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi and striker Mitrovic, but after reviewing the video technology, the referee canceled the decision. Al-Fateh scored a third goal through Marwan Saadan, which was ruled out for offside, ending the first half with Al-Fateh leading by two goals to none..
In the second half, Al-Hilal rallied and managed to reduce the deficit, taking advantage of the slow response of Al-Fateh's defense and goalkeeper in clearing the ball. Marwan Saadan passed the ball to striker Mitrovic, who then passed it to Nasser Al-Dosari, who shot it directly into the net for Al-Hilal's first goal (50'). From an organized attack, Koulibaly passed the ball to Salem Al-Dosari, who played it to Malcolm and then returned it to Salem to score the second goal and equalize for Al-Hilal (60'). Al-Fateh regained the lead again through Murad Batna after a clever pass from Sofiane Bendebka, allowing Batna to control the ball and shoot a powerful low shot into the far corner away from goalkeeper Yassine Bounou for Al-Fateh's third goal (82'). In the final minutes, Al-Hilal turned the match around through their striker Alexander Mitrovic, who scored the third and fourth goals in the 85th and 90+2 minutes, ending the match with Al-Hilal winning four goals to three.
With this result, Al-Hilal achieves their 22nd victory, reaching 71 points and securing second place, while Al-Fateh suffers their 17th loss, remaining at 33 points in 13th place. In the upcoming round, Al-Hilal will visit Al-Wehda while Al-Fateh will face their host Dhamk.
