The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced that the final ruling in the dispute over the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal will be issued at the end of next November.
The court clarified in a statement today (Monday) that the hearing for the appeal submitted by the Senegalese Football Federation against "CAF" and the Moroccan Football Federation was held on October 8 in Lausanne in a closed session, and that the arbitration panel has begun its deliberations and will issue a detailed ruling with legal justifications.
CAS emphasized that its official channels are the only source of information regarding the case, which dates back to the incident where Senegalese players left the field in protest against a penalty awarded to Morocco in the final.
