أكد المدرب واللاعب الدولي السابق محمد أبو عرّاد، أن فوز الأخضر 3-0 على عُمان والتأهل لنصف نهائي خليجي 27 في ملعب الإنماء بجدة، جاء بأداء قوي ومثالي في الشوط الأول. وقال لعكاظ: «الفاعلية في التحولات والهجوم المباشر كانت السلاح الأبرز، المنتخب لم يحتاج لاستحواذ كبير ووصل للمرمى بأقل اللمسات وأسرع وقت».
وأضاف: «الهدف الأول من ركلة ثابتة منح الأفضلية، والثاني أظهر جودة التنظيم الثابت برأسية كادش، والثالث للبريكان بعد استغلال المساحات خلف دفاع عُمان».
وأشار إلى أن عُمان لم يكن ضعيفاً لكنه تأثر بهدفين مبكرين فتقدم وترك مساحات، فيما أنقذ الحارس إبراهيم المخيني فريقه من نتيجة أكبر، مؤكداً أن عُمان افتقد الحلول أمام التنظيم السعودي.
Former international player and coach Mohamed Abu Arad confirmed that the green team's 3-0 victory over Oman and qualification for the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup 27 at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah came with a strong and perfect performance in the first half. He said to Okaz: “The effectiveness in transitions and direct attacks was the most prominent weapon; the team did not need a lot of possession and reached the goal with fewer touches and in less time.”
He added: “The first goal from a set piece gave us the advantage, the second showcased the quality of the set organization with a header from Kadhesh, and the third was scored by Al-Buraikan after exploiting the spaces behind Oman’s defense.”
He pointed out that Oman was not weak but was affected by two early goals, which led them to push forward and leave spaces, while goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Mukhaini saved his team from a larger scoreline, confirming that Oman lacked solutions against the Saudi organization.
