After five rounds in the Saudi First Division League, the first football team of Al-Ula Club managed to achieve a perfect score by winning against its competitors for the league title; Al-Anwar (second place), Jeddah (third place), and Al-Jabalin (fourth place).
Al-Ula started its journey in the First Division with a wide victory at home, defeating its guest Al-Jabalin with a score of (3-1), before securing a valuable win against Al-Anwar, which hosted the match in Hota Bani Tamim, with a score of (1-0). Then, they managed to win again with a clean sheet at home in Medina against one of the promotion candidates (Al-Raed) with a score of (2-0) in the third round.
In the fourth round, they triumphed over their host Damak, another candidate for promotion to the Premier League, with a score of (1-0) at the Damak Club stadium in Abha, before winning in the fifth round against Jeddah with a clean three-goal victory.
The artistic imprint of the Portuguese coach Biserra, who previously coached the Saudi national team and Al-Hilal Club, is evident as his team has not conceded any goals in four out of the five matches played, winning all four matches, bringing the team's total to (10) goals, with only (1 goal) conceded in the first round.
Al-Ula has widened the gap between itself and its closest pursuers to seven points, and it is expected that the gap will increase due to the team's impressive start and its distance from the pressure of facing competing teams until the second round.
