حمّل المدرب الوطني ولاعب ومدرب الأهلي السابق يوسف عنبر، الخيارات الفنية التي بدأ بها مدرب الأهلي مارينو بوسيتش مواجهة القادسية، جانباً من مسؤولية الخسارة 2-3، مؤكداً أن التشكيل وطريقة اللعب لم يمنحا الفريق التوازن المطلوب، خصوصاً في الجانب الدفاعي.
وقال عنبر لـ«عكاظ»: «اختيار التشكيل منذ بداية المباراة لم يكن موفقاً، ووجود ريان حامد في مركز الظهير الأيمن كان خطأً فنياً واضحاً، كما أن توظيف البرتغالي فرانسيسكو ترينكاو في وسط الملعب لم يكن مجدياً للفريق، إلى جانب مشاركة فراس البريكان على الجناح الأيمن، التي لم تحقق الإضافة المطلوبة».
وأضاف: «القادسية كان كتاباً مفتوحاً للقراءة، لكننا لم نشاهد من مدرب الأهلي التعامل بالشكل المطلوب مع مكامن قوة المنافس أو العمل على إيقافها، وهو ما منح القادسية القدرة على الوصول إلى مناطق الأهلي واستغلال المساحات». وانتهت المواجهة بفوز القادسية 3-2، بعدما سجل تيجاني رايندرز هدفين ومحمد أبو الشامات هدفاً، فيما سجل إيفان توني هدفَي الأهلي.
وانتقد عنبر طريقة اللعب التي اعتمد عليها الجهاز الفني، موضحاً أن النهج الهجومي للأهلي يحتاج إلى تأمين أكبر في وسط الملعب، وقال: «طريقة 4-1-4-1 لا تتناسب مع الأهلي في ظل النزعة الهجومية للفريق، وعدم وجود محورين يشكلان ساتراً دفاعياً أمام قلبَي الدفاع ميريح ديميرال وروجر إيبانيز جعل الخط الخلفي في وضع خطر مع كل هجمة للمنافس».
وأشار مدرب الأهلي السابق إلى أن كثرة التغييرات في التشكيلة انعكست سلباً على الفريق، مضيفاً: «التغييرات المتعددة التي يجريها المدرب على التشكيلة أفقدت الأهلي التوازن والانسجام بين عناصره، وهذا ظهر بوضوح في مختلف الخطوط».
وشدد عنبر على أن الأهلي بحاجة إلى مزيد من الاستقرار الفني وإعادة التوازن بين الشقين الدفاعي والهجومي، خصوصاً أن الاندفاع إلى الأمام دون وجود الحماية الكافية لخط الدفاع يمنح المنافسين مساحات يمكن استغلالها، مطالباً الجهاز الفني بقراءة المنافسين بصورة أفضل واختيار العناصر وفق مراكزها وأدوارها التي تحقق التوازن للفريق.
The national coach and former Al-Ahli player and coach, Youssef Anbar, attributed part of the responsibility for the 2-3 loss to Al-Qadisiyah to the tactical choices made by Al-Ahli coach Marino Pusic at the start of the match, confirming that the formation and playing style did not provide the team with the necessary balance, especially in the defensive aspect.
He told "Okaz": "The choice of formation from the beginning of the match was not successful, and placing Rayan Hamid in the right-back position was a clear tactical mistake. Additionally, employing the Portuguese Francisco Trincão in midfield was not beneficial for the team, along with the participation of Firas Al-Breikan on the right wing, which did not provide the required contribution."
He added: "Al-Qadisiyah was an open book to read, but we did not see the Al-Ahli coach dealing appropriately with the strengths of the opponent or working to stop them, which allowed Al-Qadisiyah to reach Al-Ahli's areas and exploit the spaces." The match ended with Al-Qadisiyah winning 3-2, after Tijani Reinders scored two goals and Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat scored one, while Ivan Toney scored both of Al-Ahli's goals.
Anbar criticized the playing style adopted by the coaching staff, explaining that Al-Ahli's attacking approach needs greater security in midfield. He said: "The 4-1-4-1 formation does not suit Al-Ahli given the team's attacking inclination, and the absence of two defensive midfielders forming a shield in front of the center-backs Merih Demiral and Roger Ibanez put the back line in a dangerous position with every attack from the opponent."
The former Al-Ahli coach pointed out that the frequent changes in the lineup negatively impacted the team, adding: "The multiple changes made by the coach to the lineup deprived Al-Ahli of balance and harmony among its elements, which was clearly evident in various lines."
Anbar emphasized that Al-Ahli needs more technical stability and to restore balance between the defensive and offensive aspects, especially since pushing forward without adequate protection for the defense gives opponents spaces that can be exploited. He called on the coaching staff to better analyze the opponents and select players according to their positions and roles that achieve balance for the team.
