أكد مدرب الاتحاد فينسينت، أن مباراة الفيحاء لم تكن سهلة على الإطلاق، خصوصاً أنها جاءت بعد مواجهة مرهقة أمام النصر.
وقال في المؤتمر الصحفي بعد الفوز 2-1 في الجولة السادسة من دوري روشن: «بذلنا مجهوداً كبيراً أمام النصر أثّر علينا، رغم ذلك خلقنا فرصاً عديدة، منها كرة ديون لوبي في العارضة. في الشوط الثاني كنا الأخطر وتحسّنا، والأهم أننا حصدنا النقاط الثلاث».
وعن إصابة الحارس رايكوفيتش، اكتفى بقوله: «سنقيّم وضعه مع الطاقم الطبي».
وأشاد بالوافد الجديد فينالدوم قائلاً: «لا يهمني مركزه بقدر ما يهمني تعدد أدواره، يجيد اللعب على الطرف وبين الخطوط. إنه إضافة مهمة، لاعب ذكي يعرف كيف يتصرف وقائد بشخصية رائعة».
The Union coach Vincent confirmed that the match against Al-Fayha was not easy at all, especially since it came after a tiring encounter against Al-Nassr.
He said in the press conference after the 2-1 victory in the sixth round of the Roshen League: "We exerted a lot of effort against Al-Nassr, which affected us. Nevertheless, we created many opportunities, including a shot from Dion Lopy that hit the crossbar. In the second half, we were more dangerous and improved, and the most important thing is that we earned the three points."
Regarding the injury of goalkeeper Rajkovic, he simply stated: "We will assess his condition with the medical staff."
He praised the new arrival Wijnaldum, saying: "I am not concerned about his position as much as I am about the variety of his roles; he excels at playing on the flanks and between the lines. He is an important addition, a smart player who knows how to act, and a leader with a wonderful personality."
