حصد منتخبنا الوطني السعودي تحت 20 عاماً فوزه الثاني على التوالي بعد تغلبه على المنتخب العماني بنتيجة 3-2 (الخميس) على ستاد حمد بن خليفة في الدوحة، ضمن الجولة الثانية من منافسات المجموعة الخامسة في تصفيات كأس آسيا للشباب تحت 20 عاماً 2027 في الصين.
وشهدت المباراة الثانية ضمن ذات المجموعة، فوز قطر على هونغ كونغ الصين 3-0 على ستاد عبدالله بن خليفة.
وتصدر المنتخب السعودي المجموعة برصيد 6 نقاط، يليه عمان وقطر بثلاث نقاط لكل منهما، فيما بقي منتخب هونغ كونغ في المركز الرابع بدون نقاط.
على ستاد حمد بن خليفة، دخل نجوم منتخبنا الوطني لقاءهم أمام عُمان بعزيمة لحصد النقاط الثلاث، وتمكن المدافع عواجي علواني من تسجيل الهدف الأول برأسية قوية ارتطمت برأس اللاعب العماني فهد عبدالله ودخلت الشباك (الدقيقة 18)، لكن عُمان عادلت النتيجة في الدقيقة 23 عبر ركلة حرة متقنة نفذها علي العلوي لزميله حسن القصمي، الذي سددها في المرمى.
وسرعان ما استعاد المنتخب السعودي السيطرة، وفي بداية الشوط الثاني تمكن من التقدم مجدداً عندما أرسل فارس بن سالم كرة عرضية داخل منطقة الجزاء، ارتقى إليها إلياس أبو بكر برأسه لتتجاوز حسان الهنائي قبل أن ترتطم بالجزء السفلي من العارضة وتدخل المرمى.
وعزز فارس بن سالم تقدم المنتخب السعودي في الدقيقة 66، عندما حول فواز المشهور كرة عرضية ليغمزها فارس بقدمه داخل الشباك كهدف ثالث، وأعاد غانم السمين الإثارة إلى المباراة بعدما قلص الفارق بعد ثلاث دقائق، وكاد المنتخب السعودي أن يضاعف النتيجة ولكن الاستعجال في إنهاء الهجمات المرتدة حال دون ذلك، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز السعودية بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين.
Our Saudi national team under 20 years old achieved its second consecutive victory after defeating the Omani team with a score of 3-2 (on Thursday) at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, in the second round of the fifth group matches in the qualifiers for the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Cup in China.
The second match in the same group saw Qatar win against Hong Kong, China, 3-0 at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
The Saudi team topped the group with 6 points, followed by Oman and Qatar with three points each, while the Hong Kong team remained in fourth place without any points.
At Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium, the stars of our national team entered their match against Oman with determination to secure the three points. Defender Awaji Alwani scored the first goal with a powerful header that deflected off Omani player Fahd Abdullah's head and went into the net (18th minute), but Oman equalized in the 23rd minute through a well-executed free kick taken by Ali Al-Alawi to his teammate Hassan Al-Qasmi, who shot it into the goal.
The Saudi team quickly regained control, and at the beginning of the second half, they managed to take the lead again when Fares bin Salem sent a cross into the penalty area, which Elyas Abu Bakr headed to surpass Hassan Al-Hinai before hitting the bottom of the crossbar and entering the net.
Fares bin Salem enhanced the Saudi team's lead in the 66th minute when Fawaz Al-Mashhour converted a cross, allowing Fares to flick it into the net with his foot for the third goal. Ghanem Al-Sameen brought excitement back to the match after narrowing the gap three minutes later, and the Saudi team nearly doubled the score, but haste in finishing counterattacks prevented that, ending the match with Saudi Arabia winning three goals to two.
