ألحق الخلود الخسارة الأولى بالأهلي في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين هذا الموسم، بعدما تغلب عليه بنتيجة 3-1، في المواجهة التي جمعتهما مساء اليوم (السبت)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة من المسابقة.
دخل الخلود المواجهة بسجل خالٍ من الخسائر خلال الجولات الثلاث الأولى، ونجح في مواصلة انطلاقته القوية أمام الأهلي، مستفيدًا من التنظيم الدفاعي والفاعلية الهجومية، ليحصد ثلاث نقاط ثمينة ويؤكد حضوره القوي في بداية الموسم.
وافتتح الخلود التسجيل عن طريق الإسباني إيكر كورتاهارينا عند الدقيقة 35، لينهي الشوط الأول متقدمًا بهدف دون مقابل.
وفي الشوط الثاني، كثف الأهلي محاولاته بحثًا عن العودة، ونجح الإنجليزي إيفان توني في تسجيل هدف التعادل عند الدقيقة 67، إلا أن الخلود رد بقوة وتمكن من تسجيل هدفين إضافيين، ليحسم المواجهة بنتيجة 3-1 ويواصل سجله دون خسارة في دوري روشن.
وتأتي خسارة الأهلي في توقيت حساس، قبل دخوله اختبارًا ثقيلًا أمام الهلال، الثلاثاء القادم، في مواجهة مرتقبة ضمن منافسات دوري روشن، إذ سيكون «الراقي» مطالبًا باستعادة توازنه سريعًا وتصحيح الأخطاء والعودة إلى طريق الانتصارات.

Al-Khulood entered the match with an unbeaten record during the first three rounds and succeeded in continuing their strong start against Al-Ahli, benefiting from solid defensive organization and offensive effectiveness, earning three valuable points and confirming their strong presence at the beginning of the season.
Al-Khulood opened the scoring through Spanish player Iker Cortajarena in the 35th minute, ending the first half with a lead of one goal to none.
In the second half, Al-Ahli intensified their attempts to come back, and English player Ivan Toney managed to score the equalizer in the 67th minute. However, Al-Khulood responded strongly and was able to score two additional goals, sealing the match with a 3-1 victory and maintaining their unbeaten record in the Roshen League.
