انطلاقاً من رؤية جديدة تربط بين إرث الماضي وتطلعات المستقبل، كشف الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم اليوم هويته الرسمية ومسماه الجديد. وذلك إيذانًا ببدء مرحلة جديدة في مسيرته، وتعزيز حضوره المؤسسي، ومواكبة التطور الذي تشهده كرة القدم الخليجية على مختلف الأصعدة العالمية.
ويجسد هذا الإعلان نقلة نوعية في مسيرة الاتحاد، حيث يشمل تحديث هويته البصرية واعتماد اسمه الجديد (الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم) بدلًا من اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم، بما يعكس رؤيته الإستراتيجية الهادفة إلى ترسيخ مكانته كمنصة رياضية رائدة، وبناء حضور عصري يعكس روح اللعبة، وطموحات كرة القدم الخليجية تحت مظلة واحدة.
ويجسد الشعار الجديد قيم الثقة والحيوية والحداثة، ويحمل مضامين مستوحاة من هوية المنطقة وثقافتها وإرثها، مع التعبير في الوقت ذاته عن التطور المتسارع الذي تشهده كرة القدم الخليجية، وإلهام الأجيال الصاعدة.
ويتضمن الشعار عنصرًا بصريًا مميزًا يتمثل في شريط ديناميكي يعكس الحركة والانسيابية التي تميز كرة القدم، وتعكس الهوية المتجددة للاتحاد التي ترمز إلى الترابط، والثقة، والانسجام، والطموح المشترك.
وبهذه المناسبة، قال رئيس الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم حمد بن خليفة بن أحمد آل ثاني: «إننا نمر بلحظة محورية في مسيرة نمونا، ومن الضروري تبنّي هوية جديدة تعكس الرحلة التحويلية التي نستعد لخوضها خلال العقود القادمة».
وأضاف: «تبقى رؤيتنا للمستقبل ثابتة؛ نطمح إلى الإسهام في تعزيز حضور كرة القدم الخليجية ونجاح منتخباتها وأنديتها على الساحة العالمية. وتجسد هذه الهوية الجديدة طموحاتنا لتحقيق مستويات غير مسبوقة من التميز والنجاح».
وأوضح: «خلال السنوات الأخيرة تمكنا من بناء شراكات إستراتيجية أسهمت في دعم مسيرة كرة القدم الخليجية وتعزيز نمو بطولات الاتحاد، رسخت مكانة مسابقاته، وعكست الشغف المتزايد بكرة القدم في المنطقة، بما يمهد الطريق نحو آفاق جديدة من التميز والنجاح».
واختتم قائلًا: «أتقدم بأطيب التمنيات إلى كافة الاتحادات الخليجية الأعضاء، بمزيد من النجاح والازدهار، ونحن نستهل هذه المرحلة الجديدة بثقة وطموح، ونثمن جهودهم في دعم مسيرة الاتحاد منذ التأسيس».

This marks the beginning of a new phase in its journey, enhancing its institutional presence and keeping pace with the developments witnessed in Gulf football on various global levels.
This announcement represents a qualitative leap in the association's journey, as it includes an update to its visual identity and the adoption of its new name (Gulf Football Association) instead of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Association, reflecting its strategic vision aimed at establishing its position as a leading sports platform and building a modern presence that embodies the spirit of the game and the aspirations of Gulf football under one umbrella.
The new logo embodies the values of trust, vitality, and modernity, carrying meanings inspired by the identity, culture, and heritage of the region, while simultaneously expressing the rapid development that Gulf football is experiencing and inspiring future generations.
The logo includes a distinctive visual element represented by a dynamic ribbon that reflects the movement and fluidity characteristic of football, embodying the renewed identity of the association that symbolizes connection, trust, harmony, and shared ambition.
On this occasion, the President of the Gulf Football Association, Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, said: "We are experiencing a pivotal moment in our growth journey, and it is essential to adopt a new identity that reflects the transformative journey we are preparing to embark on over the coming decades."
He added: "Our vision for the future remains steadfast; we aspire to contribute to enhancing the presence of Gulf football and the success of its teams and clubs on the global stage. This new identity embodies our ambitions to achieve unprecedented levels of excellence and success."
He explained: "In recent years, we have managed to build strategic partnerships that have contributed to supporting the journey of Gulf football and enhancing the growth of the association's tournaments, solidifying the status of its competitions, and reflecting the growing passion for football in the region, paving the way for new horizons of excellence and success."
He concluded by saying: "I extend my best wishes to all member Gulf associations for further success and prosperity as we embark on this new phase with confidence and ambition, and we appreciate their efforts in supporting the association's journey since its inception."
