واصل المنتخب المغربي كتابة فصول جديدة من تألقه في كأس العالم 2026، بعدما أطاح بمنتخب هولندا بركلات الترجيح بنتيجة 3-2، عقب انتهاء الوقتين الأصلي والإضافي بالتعادل 1-1، ليحجز مقعده في دور الـ16 من البطولة.

واستمر التعادل حتى نهاية الأشواط الإضافية، لتبتسم ركلات الترجيح للمنتخب المغربي بنتيجة 3-2، وسط تألق لاعبيه وثباتهم في اللحظات الحاسمة، ليقصوا أحد أبرز المرشحين للمنافسة على اللقب.
وبهذا الانتصار، واصل المغرب مشواره المميز في المونديال، ليصبح رابع المنتخبات المتأهلة إلى دور الـ16، ويضرب موعدًا مع منتخب كندا في مواجهة مرتقبة، بينما غادرت هولندا البطولة رغم تقدمها حتى الدقائق الأخيرة من اللقاء.
