أكد ولي العهد الأردني الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني دعمه الكامل للمنتخب الأردني خلال اتصال مرئي مع اللاعبين قبل مواجهتهم المرتقبة أمام الجزائر في كأس العالم، ناقلاً لهم دعم الملك عبدالله الثاني وثقته بقدرتهم على تمثيل الأردن بأفضل صورة.
وأشاد الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني بالأداء المميز والروح القتالية التي أظهرها «النشامى» في المباراة الأولى، داعياً إلى مواصلة المشوار بالروح نفسها والعمل الجماعي وتصحيح الأخطاء.
من جانبه، أكد قائد المنتخب إحسان حداد ارتفاع معنويات اللاعبين وجاهزيتهم لتقديم كل ما لديهم من أجل تحقيق نتيجة تسعد الجماهير الأردنية.
