أبدى مدافع المنتخب السعودي حسان تمبكتي خيبة أمله عقب الخسارة أمام إسبانيا في الجولة الثانية من كأس العالم 2026، مؤكداً أن النتيجة لا تعكس طموحات «الأخضر» في البطولة.
وقال تمبكتي في تصريحاته بعد المباراة: «كانت مباراة للنسيان، وسنتعلم من الأخطاء التي وقعنا فيها. النتيجة غير مرضية بالنسبة لنا، والهدف الأول أربك الفريق وأثر على مجريات اللقاء».
وأضاف: «لا يزال أمامنا لقاء مهم في الجولة الأخيرة، وبإذن الله سنحقق الفوز ونحصد النقاط الثلاث».
وشدد مدافع الأخضر على أهمية التركيز على المواجهة القادمة، قائلاً: «سنلعب بكل قوتنا أمام منتخب الرأس الأخضر، وهدفنا تقديم مستوى أفضل وتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تسعد الجماهير السعودية».
ويستعد المنتخب السعودي لخوض مواجهة حاسمة أمام الرأس الأخضر في الجولة الثالثة (الأخيرة) من دور المجموعات، بحثاً عن إنهاء مشواره في البطولة بصورة إيجابية بعد التعادل مع الأوروغواي والخسارة أمام إسبانيا.
