وأوضحت شركة السكك الحديدية الوطنية البريطانية (National Rail) أن الانقطاع أدى إلى إلغاء عدد من الرحلات وتأخير أخرى أو إعادة جدولتها، مشيرةً إلى أن الاضطرابات تشمل منطقة مانشستر الكبرى، ووسط إنجلترا، وشمال غربها، ومن المتوقع استمرارها حتى نهاية اليوم.
A power outage at a communications center today caused widespread disruption to train services in central and northwestern England.
The British National Rail company stated that the outage led to the cancellation of several journeys, delays to others, or rescheduling, noting that the disruptions affect the Greater Manchester area, central England, and the northwest, and are expected to continue until the end of the day.
