أعلن نادي فولهام الإنجليزي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، رحيل البرتغالي ماركو سيلفا عن تدريب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، بعد 5 سنوات على رأس الجهاز الفني.
وقال النادي في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني: «يؤكد نادي فولهام أن ماركو سيلفا سيترك منصبه مدرباً رئيسياً للفريق هذا الصيف».
مسيرة ناجحة
وأضاف البيان: «شغل سيلفا هذا المنصب لمدة 5 سنوات، ما جعله ثالث أطول المدربين خدمة في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، وهي فترة حافلة بالنجاحات».
سيلفا يودع الجماهير
وفي رسالة إلى المشجعين، قال سيلفا: «إلى جماهيرنا، لقد طلبت منكم منذ اليوم الأول أن تكونوا دائماً إلى جانبنا، وهذا ما فعلتموه طوال السنوات الـ5 الماضية، لقد حققنا الكثير معاً».
وتابع: «لطالما شعرنا، أنا وجهازي الفني، بدعمكم، لن أنسى ذلك أبداً، سيبقى فولهام دائماً في قلبي، وسأعود عاجلاً أم آجلاً إلى ملعب كرافن كوتيدج».
Fulham FC announced today (Tuesday) the departure of Portuguese Marco Silva from the head coach position of the first football team, after 5 years at the helm of the coaching staff.
The club stated in a release on its website: "Fulham FC confirms that Marco Silva will leave his position as head coach of the team this summer."
Successful Career
The statement added: "Silva held this position for 5 years, making him the third longest-serving manager in the Premier League, a period filled with successes."
Silva Bids Farewell to Fans
In a message to the fans, Silva said: "To our supporters, I asked you from day one to always stand by us, and that is what you have done throughout the past 5 years; we have achieved a lot together."
He continued: "My coaching staff and I have always felt your support; I will never forget that. Fulham will always remain in my heart, and I will return sooner or later to Craven Cottage."
