وبهذه النتيجة، رفع الخلود رصيده إلى 32 نقطة في المركز الـ14، ليضمن رسمياً البقاء في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين للسنة الثالثة على التوالي، فيما ارتفع رصيد الأخدود إلى 17 نقطة في المركز قبل الأخير، وودع المسابقة رسمياً قبل ثلاث جولات من النهاية.
وشهد الشوط الأول أداءً متواضعاً من الجانبين، مع أفضلية نسبية للأخدود الذي هدد المرمى مبكراً عبر تسديدة توكماك نجوين، إلا أن الحارس الأرجنتيني خوان كوزاني أمسك الكرة بسهولة عند الدقيقة الثامنة. وبعدها انحصرت المحاولات في هجمات محدودة لم تشكل خطورة حقيقية على المرميين.
وفي الشوط الثاني، واصل الأخدود محاولاته الهجومية، وكاد خالد ناري يفتتح التسجيل بتسديدة قوية مرت بجوار القائم عند الدقيقة 51. ورد الخلود بمحاولة خطيرة بعدما أضاع هتان باهبري فرصة محققة في الدقيقة 58، قبل أن يسدد أوتكوس كرة قوية مرت بمحاذاة القائم عند الدقيقة 65.

With this result, Al-Khulood raised its points to 32, securing the 14th position, officially ensuring its stay in the Roshan Saudi Professional League for the third consecutive year, while Al-Akhdoood's points increased to 17 in the second-to-last position, officially exiting the competition three rounds before the end.
The first half witnessed a modest performance from both sides, with a relative advantage for Al-Akhdoood, which threatened the goal early on with a shot from Tokmak Nguyen, but Argentine goalkeeper Juan Cuzzani easily caught the ball in the eighth minute. After that, attempts were limited to few attacks that posed no real danger to either goal.
In the second half, Al-Akhdoood continued its attacking attempts, and Khalid Nari nearly opened the scoring with a powerful shot that went just past the post in the 51st minute.
