أكد مدرب برشلونة هانز فليك توصله إلى اتفاق مع إدارة ناديه لتمديد عقده موسماً إضافياً بعد النجاحات التي حققها مع الفريق.
وكان برشلونة قد فاز على ريال مدريد بهدفين دون رد، الأحد الماضي، ليتوج بلقب الدوري الإسباني للمرة التاسعة والعشرين في تاريخه، قبل ثلاث جولات من نهاية المسابقة.
عقد حتى 2028
وقال فليك في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة «سبورت» الإسبانية: «أنا سعيد للغاية؛ هذا يمنحني الثقة لمواصلة العمل لعام أو عامين آخرين، أعتقد أن العديد من المدربين سيسعدون بتوقيع عقد لمدة ثلاث أو أربع سنوات، ولكن في حالة برشلونة، من الأفضل تحديد المدة، سنستمر حتى عام 2028، وإذا سارت الأمور على ما يرام، فسنتخذ قرار البقاء لعام آخر».
طموحات جديدة
وأضاف: «لقد كان اتفاقاً ممتازاً لكلا الطرفين. لقد أظهروا لي أن هذا هو المكان الذي أرغب في البقاء فيه، وهو أيضاً التزام من جانبي بالعمل بجدية أكبر من الموسم الحالي من أجل تحقيق أهداف وألقاب جديدة، الجميع يحلم بدوري أبطال أوروبا، وسنحاول مجدداً».
التجربة الأخيرة
وكان فليك قد صرح في مارس الماضي أنه لن يدرب أي نادٍ آخر بعد نهاية رحلته مع «البلوغرانا»، مبدياً سعادته بالتواجد داخل النادي الكتالوني.
Barcelona coach Hans Flick confirmed that he has reached an agreement with his club's management to extend his contract for an additional season after the successes he has achieved with the team.
Barcelona had won against Real Madrid with a score of two goals to none last Sunday, clinching the La Liga title for the twenty-ninth time in its history, three rounds before the end of the competition.
Contract until 2028
Flick said in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper "Sport": "I am very happy; this gives me the confidence to continue working for another year or two. I believe many coaches would be happy to sign a contract for three or four years, but in the case of Barcelona, it is better to specify the duration. We will continue until 2028, and if things go well, we will decide to stay for another year."
New ambitions
He added: "It has been an excellent agreement for both parties. They have shown me that this is the place I want to stay, and it is also my commitment to work harder than this current season to achieve new goals and titles. Everyone dreams of the Champions League, and we will try again."
The last experience
Flick had stated last March that he would not coach any other club after the end of his journey with "the Blaugrana," expressing his happiness to be within the Catalan club.
