يلتقي نادي شباب الأهلي الإماراتي مع بوريرام يونايتد التايلاندي عند تمام الساعة 7:15 من مساء اليوم (السبت) على ستاد مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية في جدة، في ختام لقاءات ربع نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
وقد وصل فريق بوريرام يونايتد لهذا اللقاء بعد أن احتل المركز الرابع في مرحلة الدوري في منطقة الشرق برصيد 14 نقطة من ثماني مباريات، ثم فاز في دور الـ16 على ملبورن سيتي الأسترالي بفارق ركلات الترجيح 4-2 بعد التعادل 1-1 في مجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب.
في المقابل حصل شباب الأهلي على المركز السادس في منطقة الغرب برصيد 11 نقطة من ثماني مباريات، ثم فاز في دور الـ16 على تراكتور الإيراني 3-0.
وسيكمل الفائز في لقاء الليلة عقد المتأهلين للدور نصف النهائي وسيضرب موعداً مع فريق ماتشيدا الياباني، قبل خوض النهائي أمام الفائز من لقاء ممثل الوطن فريق الأهلي حامل اللقب، وفريق فيسيل كوبي الياباني، وذلك يوم 25 ابريل القادم.
ويخوض بوريرام هذه المرحلة من البطولة للموسم الثاني على التوالي، ويؤمن مدربه الإنكليزي مارك جاكسون أن فريقه يمتلك الجودة اللازمة للذهاب بعيداً في المنافسة.
The Al Ahli Youth Club of the UAE meets Buriram United of Thailand at exactly 7:15 PM today (Saturday) at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, in the final match of the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League for the elite 2025-2026 season.
Buriram United reached this match after finishing fourth in the league stage in the East Zone with 14 points from eight matches, then won in the Round of 16 against Melbourne City of Australia by a penalty shootout of 4-2 after a 1-1 aggregate draw over the two legs.
On the other hand, Al Ahli Youth Club secured sixth place in the West Zone with 11 points from eight matches, then won in the Round of 16 against Tractor of Iran 3-0.
The winner of tonight's match will complete the lineup of teams qualifying for the semi-finals and will face the Japanese team Machida, before competing in the final against the winner of the match between the national representative team, Al Ahli, the defending champion, and Vissel Kobe of Japan, on April 25th.
Buriram is participating in this stage of the tournament for the second consecutive season, and their English coach Mark Jackson believes that his team has the quality needed to go far in the competition.
