أدرك فريق الخليج تعادلاً مثيراً مع مضيفه الخلود بهدفين لكل منهما، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب نادي الحزم بالرس، في افتتاحية لقاءات الجولة 27 لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية لأصحاب الأرض والجمهور وتمكن البرازيلي جوجا من تسجيل الهدف الأول للخلود (د: 9)، وأدرك الخليج التعادل من نقطة الجزاء عن طريق اليوناني كونستانتيونوس (د: 18)، وقبل نهاية الشوط الأول عاد الخلود للتقدم مجدداً عن طريق عبدالعزيز العليوه (د: 37)، وفي الأوقات الأخيرة من عمر اللقاء استطاع الخليج أن يدرك التعادل مرة أخرى عن طريق اليوناني الآخر يورغوس ماسوراس (د: 85)، لينتهي اللقاء بالتعادل بهدفين لكل منهما.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الخليج التعادل الـ7 ويصل للنقطة 31 محتلاً المركز الـ10، فيما حقق الخلود التعادل الثاني له في الدوري ويصل للنقطة 26 وفي المركز الـ14.
The Al-Khaleej team achieved a thrilling draw with their host, Al-Khulood, with a score of two goals each, in the match that took place at Al-Hazm Club Stadium in Al-Rass, in the opening of the 27th round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The match witnessed a strong start from the home team, with Brazilian Joga scoring the first goal for Al-Khulood (9th minute). Al-Khaleej equalized from the penalty spot through Greek Konstantinos (18th minute). Before the end of the first half, Al-Khulood took the lead again with a goal from Abdulaziz Al-Aliwah (37th minute). In the final moments of the match, Al-Khaleej managed to equalize once more through another Greek player, Yorgos Masouras (85th minute), ending the match in a draw with two goals each.
With this result, Al-Khaleej achieves their 7th draw and reaches 31 points, occupying the 10th position, while Al-Khulood records their second draw in the league, reaching 26 points and sitting in 14th place.
