توّج نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، فريق «التعاون» من جدة، عقب فوزه على نظيره «سلام الجامعة» بنتيجة (1-0) بكأس بطولة جدة لكرة القدم 2026، بحضور محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، ووزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل، وذلك على الملعب الرديف بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية.
وحقق فريق «التعاون» كأس البطولة والميدالية الذهبية، ونال فريق «سلام الجامعة» الميدالية الفضية، فيما حقق فريق «حرس الحدود بمنطقة مكة المكرمة» الميدالية البرونزية بعد فوزه على فريق «شرطة محافظة جدة» بنتيجة هدفين مقابل هدف.
كما كرّم الرعاة والجهات المشاركة في البطولة، وطاقم حكام المباراة النهائية والمراقب؛ تقديرًا لجهودهم التي أسهمت في إنجاح البطولة.
وشهدت البطولة حضورًا جماهيريًا مميزًا أضفى أجواءً حماسية على المباريات، وعكس التفاعل الكبير مع المنافسات، في ظل تنظيم متكامل ومستوى فني لافت أسهم في إبراز المواهب الرياضية وتعزيز روح التنافس الشريف بين الفرق المشاركة، بما يجسد دعم القيادة الرشيدة للقطاع الرياضي وتمكينه من أداء رسالته في خدمة الشباب وتنمية قدراتهم.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, crowned the "Al-Taawun" team from Jeddah after their victory over "Salam University" with a score of (1-0) in the Jeddah Football Championship 2026, in the presence of Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, and the Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, at the King Abdullah Sports City auxiliary stadium.
The "Al-Taawun" team won the championship cup and the gold medal, while the "Salam University" team received the silver medal. The "Border Guard Team in Makkah Region" secured the bronze medal after defeating the "Jeddah Police" team with a score of two goals to one.
Additionally, the sponsors and participating entities in the championship, as well as the referees and the observer of the final match, were honored in appreciation of their efforts that contributed to the success of the tournament.
The championship witnessed a remarkable audience presence that added a thrilling atmosphere to the matches and reflected the significant interaction with the competitions, under a comprehensive organization and a notable technical level that helped highlight sports talents and enhance the spirit of fair competition among the participating teams, embodying the support of the wise leadership for the sports sector and enabling it to fulfill its mission in serving youth and developing their capabilities.
