شهدت المواجهة التي جمعت الأهلي المصري والجيش الملكي المغربي، مساء الأحد، في ختام دور المجموعات من دوري أبطال أفريقيا، أجواءً مشحونة داخل المستطيل الأخضر وخارجه، في مباراة احتضنها استاد القاهرة الدولي.
وبدأت التوترات في الدقيقة 41 من الشوط الأول، إثر احتكاك بدني قوي بين لاعب الأهلي طاهر محمد طاهر وقائد الجيش الملكي محمد ربيع الحريمات، تطور سريعاً إلى مشادة كلامية حادة ثم اشتباك بالأيدي، وسط حالة من الغليان بين لاعبي الفريقين.
تدخلات لاحتواء الموقف
وحاول المغربي أشرف بن شرقي التدخل لتهدئة الأجواء وفض الاشتباك بين زملائه السابقين، غير أن التوتر امتد إلى عدد من لاعبي دكة البدلاء وأفراد الجهازين الفنيين، قبل أن ينجح طاقم التحكيم في إعادة الأمور إلى نصابها واستئناف اللعب.
المقذوفات توقف المباراة
ولم تتوقف حالة الاحتقان عند حدود الملعب، إذ انتقل التوتر إلى المدرجات، حيث اضطر الحكم في الدقيقة 50 إلى إيقاف المباراة لعدة دقائق بعد إلقاء زجاجات مياه ومقذوفات باتجاه لاعبي الفريق المغربي، ما استدعى تأمين المنطقة المحيطة بأرضية الملعب قبل استكمال اللقاء.
كما رصدت تقارير إعلامية احتكاكات في المدرج المخصص لجماهير الجيش الملكي مع بعض عناصر الأمن، في مشهد أعاد للأذهان أجواء التوتر التي صاحبت مواجهة الذهاب في الرباط.
عقوبات مرتقبة من «كاف»
ويترقب الناديان ما سيسفر عنه تقرير مراقب المباراة، وسط توقعات بفرض غرامات مالية مغلظة من قبل الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم(كاف)، قد تصل إلى عقوبات بحرمان جماهيري في ربع النهائي، على خلفية تكرار حوادث الشغب في مباراتي الذهاب والإياب.
The match between Al Ahly of Egypt and the Royal Army of Morocco, held on Sunday evening at the Cairo International Stadium, witnessed a charged atmosphere both on and off the field, in the final round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The tensions began in the 41st minute of the first half, following a strong physical clash between Al Ahly player Taher Mohamed Taher and Royal Army captain Mohamed Rabi' Al-Harimat, which quickly escalated into a heated verbal exchange and then a physical altercation, amidst a boiling atmosphere among the players of both teams.
Interventions to Contain the Situation
Moroccan player Achraf Bencharki attempted to intervene to calm the atmosphere and break up the scuffle between his former teammates, but the tension extended to several players on the substitutes' bench and members of both coaching staffs, before the refereeing team managed to restore order and resume play.
Projectiles Halt the Match
The state of tension did not stop at the boundaries of the field, as it spread to the stands, where the referee was forced to stop the match for several minutes in the 50th minute after bottles and projectiles were thrown towards the Moroccan players, necessitating securing the area around the pitch before continuing the match.
Media reports also noted clashes in the section designated for the Royal Army fans with some security personnel, in a scene reminiscent of the tense atmosphere that accompanied the first leg in Rabat.
Expected Sanctions from CAF
Both clubs are awaiting the outcome of the match observer's report, amid expectations of hefty financial penalties from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which could include fan bans in the quarter-finals due to the recurrence of violent incidents in both the home and away matches.
