سجّل أبطال المملكة حضورًا قويًا في اليوم الثامن من منافسات بطولة آسيا للدراجات على الطريق 2026، المقامة في منطقة القصيم، بعدما نجحوا في إضافة مجموعة من الميداليات الملوّنة في سباقات الدراجات البارالمبية، مواصلين تأكيد مكانة المملكة المتقدمة على خارطة الدراجات الآسيوية.
وجاء أبرز إنجازات اليوم عبر الدراج مناحي بن لبدة، الذي توّج بالميدالية الذهبية في فئة MH1، عقب أداء مميز أنهاه بزمن 44:28 دقيقة، ليعتلي منصّة التتويج عن جدارة واستحقاق.
وواصل المنتخب السعودي تألّقه في فئات Class T، إذ أحرز الدراج فهد الدوسري الميدالية الفضية في فئة T1 بزمن 26:11 دقيقة، فيما تمكّن زميله الدراج فواز الفويز من تحقيق فضية فئة T2 بزمن 24:52 دقيقة.
ومن جانبها، واصلت البطلة رنيم الفرايدي تقديم مستويات مشرّفة في منافسات السيدات، بعد أن نالت الميدالية الفضية في فئة WT1 بزمن 35:35 دقيقة.
وامتدّت النجاحات السعودية إلى فئة MC1، حيث حقّق الدراج محمد المري الميدالية الفضية، بينما أضاف زميله عباس الهاشم الميدالية البرونزية في الفئة ذاتها.
واختتم الدراج راشد الأحمري سجلّ ميداليات اليوم بإحرازه الميدالية البرونزية في فئة MC3 بزمن 49:11 دقيقة.
وجاءت هذه النتائج لتؤكّد التطوّر الكبير الذي تشهده رياضة الدراجات البارالمبية السعودية، كما أسهمت في إضافة إنجاز جديد للرياضة النسائية السعودية في البطولة القارية، وعكست في الوقت ذاته عمق المواهب الوطنية وقدرتها على المنافسة بقوة في مختلف التصنيفات، ليواصل الأبطال السعوديون إثراء رصيد المملكة في البطولة، وتعزيز حضورها على منصّات التتويج الآسيوية.
The champions of the Kingdom made a strong presence on the eighth day of the 2026 Asian Road Cycling Championships, held in the Al-Qassim region, after they succeeded in adding a collection of colored medals in the paracycling races, continuing to affirm the Kingdom's advanced position on the Asian cycling map.
The most notable achievement of the day came from cyclist Manahi bin Labda, who won the gold medal in the MH1 category after a remarkable performance, finishing with a time of 44:28 minutes, rightfully claiming his spot on the podium.
The Saudi team continued to shine in the Class T categories, with cyclist Fahd Al-Dosari winning the silver medal in the T1 category with a time of 26:11 minutes, while his teammate Fawaz Al-Fuwaiz managed to secure the silver in the T2 category with a time of 24:52 minutes.
For her part, champion Raneem Al-Fraidi continued to deliver commendable performances in the women's competitions, after winning the silver medal in the WT1 category with a time of 35:35 minutes.
The Saudi successes extended to the MC1 category, where cyclist Mohammed Al-Mari achieved the silver medal, while his teammate Abbas Al-Hashem added the bronze medal in the same category.
Cyclist Rashid Al-Ahmari concluded the medal tally for the day by winning the bronze medal in the MC3 category with a time of 49:11 minutes.
These results confirm the significant development witnessed by Saudi paracycling, and they contributed to adding a new achievement for Saudi women's sports in the continental championship. At the same time, they reflected the depth of national talents and their ability to compete strongly across various classifications, allowing Saudi champions to continue enriching the Kingdom's record in the championship and enhancing its presence on the Asian podiums.
