تعثرت مفاوضات نادي الخليج مع لاعب الوحدة مراد الخضري للانتقال له بشكل نهائي على أن يتحمل نادي الخليج كامل عقده. وبحسب مصادر «عكاظ»، طلب نادي الخليج تخفيض العقد الاحترافي، الأمر الذي دفع مراد الخضري بالرفض مما جعل إدارة نادي الوحدة إلى تحويل اللاعب إلى فريق الوحدة تحت سن ٢١ سنة، الذي يشارك في دوري جوي تحت سن ٢١ في إشارة واضحة إلى أن مدرب الفريق الكروي الأول روسمير لا يريده في الفريق خلال المرحلة المتبقية من دوري يلو لأندية الدرجة الأولى.
من جهة أخرى، رفع المدرب روسمير درجة الاستعداد لفريقه الذي يلتقي فريق الدرعية مساء غد (الأربعاء)، ضمن الجولة العشرين من دوري يلو، إذ طلب المدرب روسمير من جميع اللاعبين عدم ارتكاب أخطاء دفاعية أو منح الخصم فرصة لصنع هجمة تهدد مرمى الفريق الوحداوي، واستغلال كافة الفرص للتسجيل واللعب بقالب جماعي والتركيز العالي في تأدية الأدوار المهنية داخل المستطيل الأخضر.
