على استاد «المملكة أرينا» بالرياض، حافظ الهلال على صدارته بعد تعادله السلبي مع ضيفه الأهلي في «الكلاسيكو» الذي شهد إثارة وندية من الفريقين، وكاد الأهلي يتقدم بعد رأسية مثالية من مدافعه إيبانيز لكن كرته مرت بجوار القائم، وردّ الهلال بهجمة مرتدة مثالية، وتمكن سالم الدوسري من هزّ الشباك لكن الحكم الأرجنتيني فالكون ألغى الهدف بداعي التسلل. وتحصل لاعب الأهلي علي مجرشي على بطاقة حمراء في الوقت بدل الضائع من عمر اللقاء.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الهلال تعادله الخامس ويصل للنقطة الـ47 محافظاً على صدارته، كما حقق الأهلي تعادله الخامس ووصل للنقطة الـ44 وتراجع للمركز الثالث.
وعلى استاد مدينة الأمير فيصل بن فهد الرياضية بالرياض، انتصر النصر على مضيفه الرياض بهدف دون مقابل، جاء عن طريق نجمه ساديو ماني في الدقيقة 40 من عمر اللقاء. وبهذا الفوز يحقق النصر الانتصار الخامس على التوالي منذ خسارته في «ديربي» العاصمة أمام الهلال، ويُعد صاحب أفضل سلسلة انتصارات متتالية بعد الأهلي صاحب الانتصارات الثمانية، ورفع النصر رصيده إلى 46 نقطة محتلاً الوصافة بفارق نقطة واحدة عن المتصدر الهلال.

Al-Ahli nearly took the lead after a perfect header from their defender Ibanez, but his shot went past the post. Al-Hilal responded with a perfect counter-attack, and Salem Al-Dosari managed to find the net, but Argentine referee Falcon disallowed the goal for offside. Al-Ahli's player Ali Majrashi received a red card in stoppage time of the match.
With this result, Al-Hilal achieves its fifth draw and reaches 47 points, maintaining its lead, while Al-Ahli also records its fifth draw and reaches 44 points, dropping to third place.
