أنهى المنتخب المصري الشوط الأول متقدماً بنتيجة 17-10، وواصل تفوقه في الشوط الثاني بتوسيع الفارق إلى 13 هدفاً، ليحصد الفراعنة اللقب الرابع على التالي والعاشر في تاريخه معادلاً الرقم القياسي المسجل باسم تونس.
برونزية للرأس الأخضر
وفي مباراة تحديد المركز الثالث، نال منتخب الرأس الأخضر الميدالية البرونزية بعد فوزه على الجزائر بنتيجة 29-23.
المتأهلون إلى مونديال 2027
وضمنت منتخبات مصر، تونس، الرأس الأخضر، الجزائر، وأنغولا التأهل إلى بطولة كأس العالم لكرة اليد 2027، المقرر إقامتها في ألمانيا.
