أعلن نادي الشباب تعيين الإعلامي محمد الشهري متحدثا رسميا للنادي، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز المنظومة الإعلامية والاتصالية، ودعم حضور النادي المؤسسي والتواصلي خلال المرحلة القادمة.
ويعد الشهري من الكفاءات الإعلامية السعودية البارزة، إذ يمتلك مسيرة مهنية حافلة ومتنوعة؛ حيث بدأ حياته العملية موظفًا في أحد البنوك، قبل أن يتجه إلى العمل الإعلامي مراسلًا لصحيفة المدينة لمدة سبع سنوات، ثم صحفيًا في صحيفة الجزيرة لثلاث سنوات.
وتدرج الشهري في عدد من المناصب الإعلامية والإدارية، إذ شغل منصب مدير العلاقات العامة في استاد الملك فهد الدولي، ثم عمل مراسلًا لإذاعة mbcFM، قبل أن يتألق كمذيع على شاشة قناة MBC، وصولًا إلى تقلده منصب المدير الإقليمي لشبكة MBC في المملكة العربية السعودية.
وقدم الشهري خلال مسيرته الإعلامية عددًا من البرامج الرياضية والاجتماعية البارزة، من أبرزها: «الكرة 2000»، و«صدى الملاعب»، و«الكأس» على قنوات MBC، إلى جانب برنامج «أحلى رحلة» على القناة السعودية، وبرنامج «هذه السعودية» على قناة روتانا.
وعلى الصعيد الأكاديمي، يحمل محمد الشهري درجة البكالوريوس في الإعلام – تخصص إذاعة وتلفزيون من الجامعة العربية الأمريكية، كما حصل على العديد من العضويات المحلية والدولية، وتلقى تكريمات متعددة في محافل محلية وعربية تقديرًا لإسهاماته الإعلامية.
The Al-Shabab Club announced the appointment of media figure Mohammed Al-Shahri as the official spokesperson for the club, in a move aimed at enhancing the media and communication system, and supporting the institutional and communicative presence of the club during the upcoming phase.
Al-Shahri is considered one of the prominent Saudi media talents, possessing a rich and diverse professional career; he began his career as an employee at a bank before moving into journalism as a correspondent for Al-Madina newspaper for seven years, and then as a journalist for Al-Jazeera newspaper for three years.
Al-Shahri progressed through several media and administrative positions, serving as the Public Relations Manager at King Fahd International Stadium, then working as a correspondent for mbcFM, before shining as a presenter on MBC Channel, eventually taking on the role of Regional Director for the MBC Network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Throughout his media career, Al-Shahri has presented a number of prominent sports and social programs, including: "Football 2000," "Echo of the Stadiums," and "The Cup" on MBC channels, in addition to the program "The Most Beautiful Journey" on the Saudi Channel, and the program "This is Saudi Arabia" on Rotana Channel.
Academically, Mohammed Al-Shahri holds a Bachelor's degree in Media – specializing in Radio and Television from the Arab American University, and has obtained numerous local and international memberships, receiving multiple honors at local and Arab forums in recognition of his media contributions.
