واصلت بلدية محافظة الخفجي، أعمالها الميدانية المرتبطة بالحالة المطرية التي شهدتها المحافظة بعد تنفيذ خطة تشغيلية متكاملة سخرت خلالها جميع الإمكانيات البشرية والفنية لضمان سلامة الطرق والمرافق العامة.
من جهته كشف رئيس بلدية محافظة الخفجي المهندس محمد بن علي اليامي جهود البلدية في تصريف مياه الأمطار إثر الحالة المطرية التي شهدتها المحافظة يوم الخميس 19 ديسمبر 2025. وقال إن البلدية سخرت أكثر من 48 آلية ومعدة، بمشاركة أكثر من 120 فردا عملوا ميدانياً على مدار الساعة، مشيرا إلى أنه تم سحب 650,440 ألف متر مكعب من مياه الأمطار من مختلف المواقع داخل المحافظة.
وأوضح أن الفرق الميدانية باشرت أعمال سحب مياه الأمطار ومعالجة تجمعاتها فور هطولها إلى جانب تنفيذ أعمال تنظيف فتحات التصريف والمناهيل ومتابعة المواقع التي جرى رصدها مسبقاً حتى انتهاء الحالة المطرية بشكل كامل.
ودعا المهندس محمد اليامي، الجميع إلى الإبلاغ عن أي ملاحظات مستقبلية عبر مركز البلاغات والطوارئ 940 لمعالجتها.
The Municipality of Al Khobar Governorate continued its fieldwork related to the rainy conditions that the governorate experienced after implementing a comprehensive operational plan that utilized all human and technical resources to ensure the safety of roads and public facilities.
For his part, the Mayor of Al Khobar Governorate, Engineer Mohammed bin Ali Al-Yami, revealed the municipality's efforts in draining rainwater following the rainy conditions that the governorate witnessed on Thursday, December 19, 2025. He stated that the municipality deployed more than 48 vehicles and equipment, with the participation of over 120 individuals who worked in the field around the clock, noting that 650,440 cubic meters of rainwater were pumped from various locations within the governorate.
He explained that the field teams began the work of draining rainwater and addressing its accumulations immediately after it fell, in addition to carrying out cleaning operations for drainage openings and manholes, and monitoring the locations that had been previously identified until the rainy conditions completely ended.
Engineer Mohammed Al-Yami called on everyone to report any future observations through the reporting and emergency center 940 for resolution.
