عقد مجلس إدارة الاتحاد الدولي للهجن، برئاسة الأمير فهد بن جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد بن جلوي، اجتماعه الرابع في مملكة البحرين، بمشاركة أعضاء مجلس الإدارة، وذلك في إطار جهود الاتحاد المستمرة لتعزيز العمل المؤسسي وتطوير رياضات الهجن على المستوى الدولي.
وناقش المجتمعون عددًا من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال، شملت استعراض التقارير المتعلقة بالأنشطة والبرامج، وبحث عدد من الملفات التنظيمية والإدارية، إلى جانب مناقشة مقترحات تهدف إلى دعم مسيرة الاتحاد وتعزيز حضوره الدولي.
وأكد الأمير فهد بن جلوي، خلال الاجتماع، أهمية المرحلة التي يمر بها الاتحاد، وضرورة مواصلة العمل بروح الفريق الواحد، واتخاذ قرارات مدروسة تسهم في ترسيخ الحوكمة وتطوير رياضات الهجن وفق أسس مستدامة.
كما ثمّن مجلس الإدارة الدعم المقدم من اللجنة الأولمبية البحرينية ولجنة رياضات الموروث الشعبي البحرينية، مشيدًا باستضافة مملكة البحرين وحسن التنظيم وكرم الضيافة، وما لذلك من أثر في إنجاح أعمال الاجتماع ودعم مسيرة الاتحاد.
وفي ختام الاجتماع، شدّد المجلس على أهمية مواصلة تنفيذ الخطط المعتمدة، وتعزيز التعاون مع الاتحادات القارية والدولية، بما يخدم أهداف الاتحاد ويسهم في تطوير رياضات الهجن على المستويين المؤسسي والدولي.
The Board of Directors of the International Camel Racing Federation, chaired by Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid bin Jiluwi, held its fourth meeting in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the participation of board members, as part of the federation's ongoing efforts to enhance institutional work and develop camel racing sports at the international level.
The attendees discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including reviewing reports related to activities and programs, examining several organizational and administrative files, as well as discussing proposals aimed at supporting the federation's journey and enhancing its international presence.
Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi emphasized during the meeting the importance of the phase the federation is going through, the necessity of continuing to work with a unified team spirit, and making well-considered decisions that contribute to establishing governance and developing camel racing sports based on sustainable foundations.
The Board of Directors also appreciated the support provided by the Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Bahrain Heritage Sports Committee, praising the Kingdom of Bahrain for its hospitality, excellent organization, and generosity, which had a significant impact on the success of the meeting and supporting the federation's journey.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the council stressed the importance of continuing to implement the approved plans and enhancing cooperation with continental and international federations, in a way that serves the federation's goals and contributes to the development of camel racing sports at both the institutional and international levels.
