استعرضت اللجنة المحلية المنظمة لبطولة كأس العرب لكرة القدم FIFA قطر 2025، آخر المستجدات التنظيمية حول الاستعدادات لاستضافة النسخة الـ11 التي تنطلق غدا، بمواجهة الافتتاح الرسمي التي تجمع المنتخب القطري صاحب الأرض ونظيره الفلسطيني على استاد البيت، وتسبقها المباراة الأولى التي تجمع بين منتخبي تونس وسورية على استاد أحمد بن علي، وذلك لحساب منافسات المجموعة الأولى.
وأكدت اللجنة المحلية المنظمة خلال مؤتمر صحفي عُقد بمركز قطر الوطني للمؤتمرات، أن كأس العرب قطر 2025 ستحظى باهتمام جماهيري كبير بعدما تم بيع 700699 تذكرة، في حين بلغ عدد التذاكر التي بيعت للمشجعين من خارج دولة قطر 210209 تذاكر، وتصدر المشجعون من قطر والأردن والسعودية مبيعات تذاكر المباريات في دور المجموعات.
ونوهت اللجنة بالاهتمام الإعلامي الواسع بالبطولة، بعدما تم تسجيل 3861 طلبا للحصول على التصاريح الإعلامية لتغطية منافساتها، منها 2085 طلبا من خارج قطر، على أن تستخدم 15 قناة تلفزيونية عربية وعالمية الاستوديوهات التي توفرها اللجنة المحلية المنظمة في الدوحة، فيما حصلت العديد من القنوات على حقوق بث المباريات، وسيكون «مترو الدوحة» مجانيا لجميع حاملي التذاكر في أيام المباريات، لتعزيز تجربة المشجعين وسط تقارب المسافات في دولة قطر، إذ يمكن الوصول لجميع الاستادات الستة التي تستضيف مباريات البطولة بكل سهولة من خلال شبكة وسائل النقل العام بما فيها مترو الدوحة وخدمة الترام والحافلات.
وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي للّجنة المحلية المنظمة لبطولات كرة القدم جاسم الجاسم أن البطولة ستكون انطلاقتها الحقيقية في النسخة الحالية بعد أن كانت النسخة الماضية تجريبية وتسبق كأس العالم 2022، مشددا على الأهمية الكبرى لتجربة الجماهير من خلال تنظيم العديد من الفعاليات المصاحبة والأنشطة الثقافية والترفيهية في الملاعب وخارجها.
بدورها، قالت المدير التنفيذي للاتصال والإعلام في اللجنة المحلية المنظمة فاطمة النعيمي إن النسخة الجديدة من البطولة تعد من الأحداث الكروية المهمة في المنطقة، التي تستقطب اهتماما كبيرا من الجماهير العربية.
وأضافت: نتوقع أن تسجل النسخة الحالية نجاحا كبيرا على غرار النسخة السابقة، وهناك مواكبة إعلامية كبيرة للحدث، وستكون القنوات التلفزيونية موجودة في الحي الثقافي كتارا للبث من الدوحة وتغطية البطولة.
وقال مدير بطولات الفئات السنية في الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) روبيرتو غراسي إن البطولة مهمة، وتعد فرصة لالتقاء المشجعين من جميع أنحاء المنطقة العربية، ونتعامل بشكل وثيق مع اللجنة المحلية المنظمة والاتحاد القطري لكرة القدم لتنظيم أفضل نسخة ممكنة، ونحاول أن نقدم ابتكارات وأنشطة جديدة تسهم في رفع مستوى البطولة في ظل استضافتها في قطر للمرة الثانية تواليا.
وأشار غراسي إلى أنه ووفق المقترح الذي قدمه رئيس لجنة الحكام في الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) بيير لويجي كولينا، ستُطَبَّق تجربة جديدة تتعلق بإبعاد اللاعب المصاب لمدة دقيقتين، بحيث يلعب فريقه بـ10 لاعبين خلال تلك الفترة الزمنية، على أن تُزَوَّد المنتخبات بجميع التفاصيل، إذ تعد البطولة فرصة لتطبيق ابتكارات جديدة تسهم في تطوير كرة القدم.
The local organizing committee for the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 in Qatar reviewed the latest organizational updates regarding the preparations for hosting the 11th edition, which kicks off tomorrow with the official opening match between the host nation Qatar and their Palestinian counterparts at Al Bayt Stadium. This will be preceded by the first match between Tunisia and Syria at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, as part of the first group stage matches.
The local organizing committee confirmed during a press conference held at the Qatar National Convention Centre that the Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will receive significant public attention after selling 700,699 tickets, with 210,209 tickets sold to fans from outside Qatar. Fans from Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia topped the ticket sales for the group stage matches.
The committee highlighted the extensive media interest in the tournament, as 3,861 requests for media credentials to cover the matches were registered, including 2,085 requests from outside Qatar. Fifteen Arab and international television channels will utilize the studios provided by the local organizing committee in Doha, while many channels have acquired broadcasting rights for the matches. The "Doha Metro" will be free for all ticket holders on match days to enhance the fan experience, given the close distances in Qatar, as all six stadiums hosting the tournament matches can be easily accessed through the public transport network, including the Doha Metro, tram service, and buses.
The CEO of the local organizing committee for football tournaments, Jassim Al Jassim, confirmed that this tournament will mark its true launch in the current edition, following the previous edition which was experimental and preceded the 2022 World Cup. He emphasized the great importance of the fan experience through organizing various accompanying events and cultural and entertainment activities inside and outside the stadiums.
For her part, the Executive Director of Communication and Media at the local organizing committee, Fatima Al Naimi, stated that the new edition of the tournament is one of the significant football events in the region, attracting considerable interest from Arab fans.
She added: We expect the current edition to achieve great success similar to the previous one, and there is significant media coverage of the event. Television channels will be present in the Katara Cultural Village to broadcast from Doha and cover the tournament.
The Director of Youth Tournaments at FIFA, Roberto Grassi, stated that the tournament is important and provides an opportunity for fans from all over the Arab region to meet. We are working closely with the local organizing committee and the Qatar Football Association to organize the best possible edition, and we are trying to introduce innovations and new activities that contribute to enhancing the tournament's level, especially as it is hosted in Qatar for the second consecutive time.
Grassi pointed out that according to the proposal presented by the Chairman of the Referees Committee at FIFA, Pierluigi Collina, a new experiment will be implemented regarding the removal of an injured player for two minutes, during which their team will play with 10 players. The teams will be provided with all the details, as the tournament is an opportunity to apply new innovations that contribute to the development of football.
