أكد نجم فريق الخلود هتان باهبري أنه كان لديه شعور وإحساس منذ تحقيق فريقه الفوز على فريق الخليج والتأهل لدور ربع النهائي بأن مواجهة دور نصف النهائي ستجمع فريق الخلود بنظيره الاتحاد في مسابقة كأس الملك للموسم الحالي، ولم يخب ذلك بعد أن أوقعت القرعة الخلود في مواجهة الاتحاد.
وأوضح باهبري أن مواجهة فريقه أمام الاتحاد في دور الأربعة ستكون للمتعة الكروية والزخم الجماهيري، «وسنعمل على تحقيق الانتصار، والتأهل للمباراة النهائية في بطولة كأس الملك الغالي، والتشرف بالسلام على راعي المباراة».
وأشار باهبري إلى أن «مواجهات الكؤوس لا تخضع للمقاييس الفنية، وهدفنا اللعب بجدية ومواصلة المشوار في البطولة الغالية»، متمنياً أن يوفق وزملاؤه في الوصول للمباراة الختامية في أغلى البطولات المحلية.
