ما بدأ بمشادة بسيطة بين سيباستيان زيبالوس ولاعبي بلومينغ سرعان ما تصاعد إلى عراك جماعي، انتهى بإصابة مدرب أوكورو بكسر في الكتف ونقله إلى المستشفى… في مشهد صادم أعاد إلى الأذهان أسوأ لحظات العنف في الملاعب.
أصدر الحكم بعد المباراة 17 بطاقة حمراء للاعبين وأعضاء الأجهزة الفنية من الفريقين، مع توقع عقوبات إضافية لاحقاً.
انتهت المباراة بالتعادل 2-2، لكن بلومينغ تأهل لنصف النهائي لفوزه 2-1 ذهاباً.
